This study aimed to determine the fine motor skills of kindergarten children through montage activities. The method used in this study is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were children aged 5–6 years. The study involved all children, consisting of 8 children. In this study, all children participated in the pre-test to determine the initial condition of fine motor skills, then were given treatment using montage activities. A post-test was conducted to determine the final condition of the children before and after being given treatment. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and tests. The data obtained is in the form of scores and is then processed using statistical methods. The data analysis techniques used in this research are the normality test and the t-test. It is proven that montage activities affect children's fine motor skills based on the paired sample t-test with a significance level of 0.05.

Analysis of the Relationship between Fine Motor Skills and Montage Activities in Early Childhood

It is quite challenging at this moment for undergraduate students to study from home (SFH) during the COVID-19 outbreaks. Social distancing practices applied during the coronavirus outbreaks to most of the public settings, including at academic activities at university. Fortunately, there have been many platforms of social media provided and accessed easily in this digital era. This current study aimed at investigating and understanding higher education students’ perspectives on social media in learning English independently in the COVID-19 outbreak. Researchers used an online survey as the main research instrument to gather data from 147 potential students to be the respondents to fill out the survey from three universities in the Sulawesi region, Indonesia. The result showed that 81% of respondents used WhatsApp as the medium to study autonomously at home during the pandemic. Besides, YouTube (77.6%), Instagram (57.8%), Facebook (29.3%), and Twitter (24.5%) also became the additional choices. They used those friendly-users and cheap accessed social media platforms to watch and to listen to English videos (79.6%) also to have the written chats in English with friends and teachers (67.3%) as well as to have the audio and video calling in English (36.1%). Further, during the pandemic, respondents improve their speaking skills (37.4%), listening skills (29.3%), reading skills (17%), and writing skills (16.3%) through social media. Even though the world is distracted, university students in this region keep their motivation to learn English from home autonomously.

Social Media Utilization for Self-Regulated English Learning during COVID-19 Outbreaks

: Many of the problems related to the implementation of guidance and counseling services. Variable allegedly linked to the issue of counseling services is the professional competence of teachers BK. This study aims to determine the relationship between the professional competence of teachers guidance and counseling to the implementation of guidance and counseling services in SMA as the city Metro. Correlational research approach. The population in this study are all guidance and counseling teacher in SMA as the city Metro and there are 17 teachers guidance and counseling. the total sample. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use Product Moment formula. With the results obtained with the 0.57 significance level of 5% = 0.514. The conclusion of this study were: 1) the professional competence of teachers guidance and counseling are in the high category, 2) the implementation of guidance and counseling services are in high category, 3) there is a relationship between the professional competence of teachers guidance and counseling to the implementation of guidance and counseling services. Inovasi media pembelajaran yang menarik sangat memiliki dampak terhadap kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran. Upaya optimalisasi smartphone peserta didik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu dengan mengintegrasikan multimedia interaktif ke dalam Smartphone berbasis android. Pengembangan model 4-D yang memiliki empat tahapan utama, yaitu; define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran game edukasi berbasis android terhadap hasil belajar. Jenis Penelitian  penilitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan media yang dikembangkan adalah  media pembelajaran berupa aplikasi game edukasi berbasis android. Objek penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu peserta didik di SMAN 1 Cigemblong tepatnya kelas XI. Analisis data kuantitatif untuk menguji efektivitas produk media pembelajaran memakai Uji N-Gain score. Hasil pre-test dan post test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan tingkat persentase sebesar 30%. Kemudian, hasil produk pengembangan media pembelajaran game edukasi berbasis android menurut N-Gain score senilai 0.73 dengan kategori tinggi. Hal ini dapat dikatakan bahwa produk tersebut cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dilihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test siswa

This paper shows the effectiveness of technology-based media designed for listening skills. The effectiveness of different technology-based media is gaining importance to students and teachers. They are the main subjects in this paper because the problem that arises at school where learning English as their second language addresses the decreased potential for the succession of learning. This study mentioned the difficulties in English as they struggle to reach success learning even there are other materials to use, like media belonging to not technology-based. That is why technology-based media was introduced to students and teachers. The researchers on different studies have taken by the chosen media recognized the ability to listen for the learning of students and the teaching of teachers in their language learning. Listening could increase the potential of learning English by hearing it through devices played by technology. The paper highlights five media for listening skills that are operating through technology. They involve mobile-based media, multimedia technology, radio news, podcast application, and mobile-based audiobooks. All of them result in the practical listening skills of teachers and primarily to students.

Technology-based media used in teaching listening skills

Mobile technology plays an equal role with face-to-face interaction in the learning process in this current era. One of the most commonly utilized technologies is the use of social media integrated with the face-to-face teaching and learning as called a blended-learning. This recent study aims: (1) to investigate how the blended learning process is operated, (2) to determine students’ perceptions in learning English through blended learning. This study was an explanatory mixed-method research design using observation, questionnaire, and interview as instruments to collect data from the purposively selected 26 students. The results of this study indicated that the process of learning English through blended learning both offline (face-to-face) and online (WhatsApp application) was well-implemented. Besides, students also showed a lot of positive perceptions when learning English through blended learning utilizing social media of WhatsApp and through the face-to-face form of language learning interaction. Thus, the researchers concluded that blended learning maintains essential behavioral, cognitive, and emotional aspects in English learning.

Students’ Perception in Learning English through Blended Learning

The aim of this study is to examine how ethics influence students’ cognitive and affective-based trust during COVID-19 pandemic and explore their information seeking activity when faced with limitations learning process. The sample consists of 610 participants through a survey study with Structural Equation Modeling to test the research hypotheses. We found both ethics has positive and significant effect to trust (e.g., cognitive- and affective-based trust), which subsequently positively effects on information seeking among students’ toward Facebook as a tool to promote their activities, The recent study’s has contributed to the academic field shows that Facebook is a tool for communication and interaction with others by seeking information, which ethics and trusts an essential exogenous factor. In practical area, education stakeholders’ should address and identify their students’ to improve their learning performance. Also, it should focus on enhancing the contents and processes of its students’ interactions to foster communication and value propositions in creating unique and valuable experiences.

Teacher professionalism and learning services to improve students’ learning outcomes in pai elementary school

Nowdays in elementary and middle school, there has been a noticeable rise in expectations for children' writing abilities. This study aimed to analyze the application of make and match model on the writing skills of Indonesian students. The type of research used was experimental research, with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was fourth grade students, totaling 27 students, consisting of 13 students from class A and 14 students from class B. Data collection techniques in conducting this research are observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. Based on the results of the study obtained an average pretest score of 68.21 and posttest 78.85. The results obtained from the t-test, the t-count value is 8.034 and the t-table is 1.782 with a significant level of 0.05 turns out to meet the criteria, t-count t table. The data obtained by using the –t test formula. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the calculated data value was > from t table. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the make a match learning method is effective in learning Indonesian for improvement of the writing ability of the fourth grade students.

A literature review, one of the main reasons for the importance of a professional teacher who becomes an agent of change for his students. Methods in this study using the literature review method by searching various sources from Google Scholar, Scopus, WOS and also Erics. The results of this study are that being a professional teacher is required. The teacher's professional attitude is manifested in the form of being able to control oneself, which is expressed through a spiritual mental attitude, so that he always acts based on moral values, principles of life, and behaves religiously in accordance with his religion and belief in carrying out his duties.
