A structural model for the relaxor PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3 at 5 K

TL;DR: In this paper, the perovskite structure of the relaxor PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3 (PMN) was studied using X-ray and neutron powder diffraction data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modification of the B-site order of PbMg13Nb23O3 ceramics by thermal annealing or by La-doping

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of annealing or La-doping of PMN ceramics on the diffuse character of the phase transition is studied, according to which the composition fluctuations induced by the growth of the 1:1 ordered domains promote the diffuse behavior of the transition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural study of a poled PbMg13Nb23O3 ceramic at low temperature

TL;DR: In this paper, the evolution of the structure of a poled PbMg 1 3 Nb 2 3 O 3 ceramic is studied by precise X-ray diffraction, between 300 and 5 K.
Journal ArticleDOI

A low-temperature extended X-ray absorption study of the local order in simple and complex perovskites. II. PMN (PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3)

TL;DR: In this article, an EXAFS study of lead magnesium niobate was performed at the Nb K edge and at the Pb LIII edge between 300 and 4.5 K. Two Nb-O bond lengths of 1.95 and 2.16 AA are observed and there is no significant modification of the local environment of the nb atoms with temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modification of the nanostructure and dielectric properties of lead magnoniobate ceramics by doping

TL;DR: In this article, the dielectric properties of PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3 (PMN) ceramics were elaborated and characterized using X-ray diffraction.
