Antibacterial, antifungal and cytotoxic properties of novel N-substituted sulfonamides from 4-hydroxycoumarin

TL;DR: A new series of 4-({[2, 4-dioxo-2H-chromen-3 (4H)-ylidene] methyl} amino) sulfonamides have been obtained by the condensation reaction of4-hydroxycoumarin with various sulf onamides in the presence of an excess of ethylorthoformate and were found to be the most active.
Journal ArticleDOI

Helical flows of second grade fluid due to constantly accelerated shear stresses

TL;DR: In this paper, the helical flows of second grade fluid between two infinite coaxial circular cylinders are considered and the exact analytic solutions, obtained by employing the Laplace and finite Hankel transforms and presented in series form in term of usual Bessel functions of first and second kind, satisfy both the governing equations and all imposed initial and boundary conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antibacterial Co(II), Cu(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II) complexes of thiadiazole derived furanyl, thiophenyl and pyrrolyl Schiff bases

TL;DR: The antibacterial potency of the Schiff bases increased upon chelation/complexation in comparison to the uncomplexed Schiff bases against the tested bacterial species thus, opening new approaches to find new ways in the fight against antibiotic-resistant strains.
Journal ArticleDOI

Assessment of WHO/INRUD core drug use indicators in two tertiary care hospitals of Bahawalpur, Punjab, Pakistan.

TL;DR: Irrational use of drugs was observed in both hospital-based OPDs and the requirement to implement the relevant WHO recommended core interventions to promote rational use of medicines is necessitates.
Journal ArticleDOI

On Degree Based Topological Properties of Two Carbon Nanotubes

TL;DR: A nanostructure belong to a significant and an extensively investigated compounds in chemical science as mentioned in this paper, it has been derived through engineering mechanism at the molecular scale. The most important o...
