Journal ArticleDOI

Role of Fermentation in Improving Nutritional Quality of Soybean Meal - A Review.

TL;DR: Feeding non-ruminants with fermented SBM has several beneficial effects including increased average daily gain, improved growth performance, better protein digestibility, decreased immunological reactivity and undesirable morphological changes like absence of granulated pinocytotic vacuoles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rheological characteristics and thermal degradation kinetics of beta-carotene in pumpkin puree

TL;DR: In this paper, the degradation kinetics of both the beta-carotene and visual color of pumpkin puree (blanched for 2min in 1% NaCl solution) were determined at a temperature range of 60-100°C for a time period varying between 0 and 2h.
Journal ArticleDOI

Adsorption of cadmium from aqueous solutions onto coffee grounds and wheat straw: equilibrium and kinetic study.

TL;DR: In this article, the adsorption kinetics of cadmium (Cd) from wastewater onto coffee grounds and wheat straw were ascertained under various process conditions, and the best fit was found to be for the pseudo-second-order kinetic model for both adsorbents.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tuning algorithms for fractional order internal model controllers for time delay processes

TL;DR: Two tuning algorithms for fractional-order internal model control (IMC) controllers for time delay processes based on two specific closed-loop control configurations, based on the IMC control structure and the Smith predictor structure are presented.
