TL;DR: Le rhabdomyosarcome est la tumeur mésenchymateuse la plus fréquente chez l'enfant et l'adolescent chez un jeune adolescent de 20 ans avec une forme histologique nouvelle.
Abstract: Rhabdomyosarcoma is the more frequent mesenchymal tumor in children and in adolescents. It accounts for 60 -70% of mesenchymal tumors and approximately 5% of all solid tumors occurring at these ages. Almost half of rhabdomyosarcomas occur in the head and the neck. We report the case of a 20-year old patient with a new histological, aggressive temporo-parietal rhabdomyosarcoma.

TL;DR: Panfacial fractures seem to be complex and difficult to treat, but with an organized and flexible approach, appropriate reduction of fractures is accomplishable, yet post-surgical complications mainly caused by soft tissue problems, including lacerations and asymmetries, can’t be easily avoided.
Abstract: Purpose: The aim of this retrospective study was to analyze the characteristics of panfacial fractures and evaluate treatment results at the Maxillofacial, Stomatology and plastic surgery department at the AVICENNE military hospital over a period of 5 years. Patients and Methods: Forty eight patients with panfacial fractures were treated in Maxillofacial, stomatology and plastic surgery department of the AVICENNE Military Teaching Hospital between 2012 and 2017. The criteria for inclusion in the study were patients who had fractures of at least three of the four axial segments of the facial skeleton: frontal, upper midface, lower midface, and mandible. Results: 48 patients with panfacial fractures had a total of 116 subtypes of facial bone fractures. A total of seventeen (14.6%) LeFort II fractures in 16 (33.4%) patients were recorded, fifteen LeFort I fractures were recorded in 3 (6.2%) cases; seven (6%) LeFort III fractures were recorded in 5 (10.4%) cases, thirteen (11.2%) fractures of the NOF complex were recorded in 6 (12.5%) patients; sixteen (33.4%) patients had thirty eight (32.7%) fractures involving the mandible. Ten (8.6%) NOM (naso-orbito-maxilla) complex fractures occurred in 9 (18.7%) cases. 5 (10.4%) patients had a total of five (4.3%) CNEMFO (naso-ethmoido-maxillo-fronto-orbital) complex fractures. Our case series included five Comminuted premaxillary fractures and six Intermaxillary disjunctions. All 48 cases had facial deformities and thirty six had malocclusions. The treatment plan to reduce and fix the facial bone fractures was sequenced “Bottom up, Outside in”. Postoperative complications were reported, there were 5 cases whose malocclusions, 4 cases of zygomatic non-union or partial defects, 13 had enophthalmos and hypoglobus. Seven had scars from the trauma, 2 had lower eyelid ectropion, and 2 had temporal muscle atrophy. Conclusion: Panfacial fractures seem to be complex and difficult to treat, but with an organized and flexible approach, appropriate reduction of fractures is accomplishable, yet post-surgical complications mainly caused by soft tissue problems, including lacerations and asymmetries, can’t be easily avoided.

TL;DR: Nous rapportons le cas d’une enfant âgee de 5 ans, nee de parents non consanguins, qui a consulte pour une dysmorphie faciale caracteristique de ce syndrome, anders que l’etude moleculaire a confirme le diagnostic.
Abstract: Hay-Wells syndrome is a rare form of ectodermal dysplasia. We report a case of a 5-year-old girl, the daughter of non-consanguineous parents. She had the characteristic of facial dysmorphia of Hay-Wells syndrome. Molecular analysis confirmed diagnosis. The patient had a cleft palate, which is considered one of cardinal signs of this syndrome. She underwent Veau-Wardill-Kilner palatoplasty with satisfactory results. Through this case report, we describe the maxillofacial manifestations of this syndrome with a literature review.

TL;DR: Passage in extravascular areas of chemotherapy drugs is a relatively less frequent incident but may lead to injury up to the extensive tissue necrosis that can worsen the patient's prognosis and alter his functional life comfort.
Abstract: Complications of chemotherapy stem from the toxicity of products used and complications related to the modes and routes of administration of these products. To minimize the risks associated with the latter, due to the toxicity of the drugs administered and the long duration of treatment requiring repeated access to the venous system, the use of implantable venous access port is recommended for the administration of these products. However, this does not exclude the risk of complication occurrence such as extravasation of cytotoxic drugs. Passage in extravascular areas of chemotherapy drugs is a relatively less frequent incident but may lead to injury up to the extensive tissue necrosis that can worsen the patient's prognosis and alter his functional life comfort. Although this complication is very well known and widely described in literature, very few cases have been reported hence the interest of this case report.

TL;DR: New atomic advancements, for example, DNA microarrays, bolster metastatic limit may be an innate component of breast tumours, which has critical ramifications for visualization predicition and the authors' comprehension of metastasis.
Abstract: Cancer begins as a nearby sickness, yet it can metastasize to the lymph hubs and far off organs. At essential finding, prognostic markers are utilized to survey whether the move to systemic illness is probably going to have happened. The overall model of metastasis mirrors this view - it recommends that metastatic limit is a late, obtained occasion in tumourigenesis. Others have proposed the possibility that breast tumour is inherently a systemic sickness. New atomic advancements, for example, DNA microarrays, bolster metastatic limit may be an innate component of breast tumours. This information has critical ramifications for visualization predicition and our comprehension of metastasis.

TL;DR: Based on the literature support and evidence, good and satisfactory outcome achieved in “Bottom-top and outside-in” sequence when compared with other sequence pattern.
Abstract: In panfacial fracture management, the controversy still exists in the sequencing of fixation. The purpose of this systematic review is to establish the best sequence pattern which assists in achieving definite facial width, vertical height and anteroposterior projection. The review was conducted according to the “Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses” (PRISMA) guidelines. Two independent authors performed a comprehensive search of the PUBMED, EBSCO, J-Gate, SCOPUS and NDH for articles published up until December 2018. Sequence of fixation, timing of intervention, outcome, follow-up period and complications were evaluated for patients with panfacial fracture. In total, 202 articles were identified from the databases. After screening and full text analysis, 25 studies were included in this systematic review. Nineteen studies reported bottom-to-top sequence and two studies reported top-to-bottom approach. However, four studies reported both the approaches. The follow-up period ranges from 3 weeks to 4 years. Based on the literature support and evidence, good and satisfactory outcome achieved in “Bottom-top and outside-in” sequence when compared with other sequence pattern. Early repair of panfacial fracture is advised for proper reduction and fixation, but can be delayed in accompanying life-threatening injuries. Complications are perceptible in all the sequences; it can be avoided by definitive treatment planning and stepwise management.
