Abstract: Polymer composites made of carbon allotropes where highly crucial for various engineering applications. We demonstrated the successful modification of Polyacrilonitrile (PAN)/ Polyvinylfloride (PVDF) blends by reinforced graphene nano platelets (GNP). The atomic force microscopy (AFM) confirms the partial immiscible traces of polymer systems with asperities on the surface of the modified blends due to loading of graphene. The phase angle (Ɵ) measurement across the temperature (40 to 150 °C) with the broadband frequency (50 Hz to 35 MHz) done by using the Impedance analyzer. The results demonstrated the decrease in phase angle as a function of temperature. This investigation is highly suitable for the development of thermal sensor for engineering and health applications.

TL;DR: This paper presents image recognition of Sign Language through hand gestures and integrate it with chatbot and gives us an audio as well as text output.
Abstract: Sign Language is a mode of communication for differently abled persons –Mute (Dumb). Sign language is the hand gestures used by people to communicate. American Sign Language is the most widely used Sign language which has its own syntax and rules and by following these rules and syntax, mute people can communicate. We have used image recognition to recognize the hand gestures. Detection of hand motions and processing of finger movement to identify what the mute person is communicating. Computer vision in python recognizes the hand gestures of a mute person and gives its output to a chatbot. Chatbot is a computer program which conducts a conversation via voice recognition. Such programs are often designed to convincingly simulate to help human beings with different tasks. This paper presents image recognition of Sign Language through hand gestures and integrate it with chatbot and gives us an audio as well as text output.

Abstract: Polyacrilonitrile (PAN)/ Polyvinylfloride (PVDF) blends were modified by loading the graphene (0.5 to 1.5 wt %). The presence of graphene reveals the interesting surface properties. The decrease in surface roughness as function of graphene loading was confirmed by the topographic method of recording (two and three dimensional images) with atomic force microscope (AFM). The blends become smoother in nature due to occupied smaller surface area of graphene. This property may be useful for several applications in the marine, naval, nuclear domain and engineering applications as barrier medium.

TL;DR: In this article, an analytical model for chiral multi-layer waveguides incorporating graphene sheets is presented, where a graphene sheet has been sandwiched between two adjacent chiral layers.
Abstract: This paper presents a novel analytical model for chiral multi-layer waveguides incorporating graphene sheets. The general structure is composed of various chiral layers, where a graphene sheet has been sandwiched between two adjacent chiral layers. We have chosen and studied this general structure to suggest a new platform for novel emerging sciences such as optical sensing. An analytical model has been proposed for the general structure to find its dispersion relation and other modal properties such as the effective index and the propagation length. To show the richness of our general structure, two novel chiral waveguides containing graphene sheets have been introduced and investigated. Our analytical results show that high values of effective indices, e.g. ${{{\bf n}}_{{{\bf eff}}}} = \ 15$ at the frequency of 8 THz for the second structure, is achievable. Moreover, it has been shown that the chemical potential of the graphene and the chirality can adjust and control the plasmonic features. Our multi-layer structure and its analytical model can be utilized in several potential applications such as switches, absorbers, cloaks, polarization rotators, and directional couplers in the THz frequencies.
