Dentinal Microcracks after Root Canal Instrumentation Using Instruments Manufactured with Different NiTi Alloys and the SAF System: A Systematic Review

TL;DR: A lower prevalence of dentinal microcracks was observed after using SAF and endodontic systems manufactured with R-phase and less of these defects were found when compared to those manufactured with traditional NiTi—ProTaper Universal and Mtwo—and with M-Wire— proTaper Next, Reciproc, and WaveOne.
Journal ArticleDOI

Management of a large periapical lesion using Biodentine(™) as retrograde restoration with eighteen months evident follow up.

TL;DR: A case report of surgical management of a large cystic lesion using Biodentine™ as retrograde filling material which has not been reported in literature so far is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Root canal morphology and variations in mandibular second molar teeth of an Indian population: an in vivo cone-beam computed tomography analysis.

TL;DR: Root canal systems of the mesial roots of mandibular second molars of the study population demonstrated a high degree of variability and while three roots were rare, there was a sexual predisposition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Push-out bond strength of root fillings made with C-Point and BC sealer versus gutta-percha and AH Plus after the instrumentation of oval canals with the Self-Adjusting File versus WaveOne

TL;DR: In oval canals, the instrument used and the root filling material significantly affected the push-out values of root fillings, and the highest value was recorded in oval root canals instrumented with the SAF System and filled with C-Point and BC sealer, whereas the lowest strength was noted in ovalCanals instrumenting with WaveOne andfilled with gutta-percha and AH Plus sealer.
Journal ArticleDOI

The self-adjusting file instrumentation results in less debris extrusion apically when compared to WaveOne and ProTaper NEXT.

TL;DR: The SAF resulted in significantly less extrusion of debris when compared to reciprocating WO and rotary PTN, and the statistical analysis showed a significant difference between all the three groups tested.
