Journal ArticleDOI

Ronchigram simulations for free-form concave reflective surfaces

TL;DR: To simulate the ronchigram irradiances the authors used ruling with cosinusoidal transmittance instead of Ronchi ruling and several examples of bironchigrams are shown for spherical surface affected by local and/or radial errors; and surfaces used in ophthalmic progressive lenses.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Solving differential equations for phase retrieval in Fourier‐transform methods

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for phase retrieval by using Fourier analysis and techniques to solve differential equations is presented, where the phase function consists of a family of potential functions which are orthogonal to a vectorial field which is the phase gradient.
Journal ArticleDOI

Only one fitting for bironchigrams

TL;DR: An algorithm that uses a square grid in a Ronchi test that applies only one nonlinear least-squares fit to the dot coordinates to calculate the optical path difference.
