TL;DR: To simulate the ronchigram irradiances the authors used ruling with cosinusoidal transmittance instead of Ronchi ruling and several examples of bironchigrams are shown for spherical surface affected by local and/or radial errors; and surfaces used in ophthalmic progressive lenses.

Solving differential equations for phase retrieval in Fourier‐transform methods
TL;DR: In this paper, a method for phase retrieval by using Fourier analysis and techniques to solve differential equations is presented, where the phase function consists of a family of potential functions which are orthogonal to a vectorial field which is the phase gradient.
