Photoionization of Ne Atoms and Ne+ Ions Near the K Edge: PrecisionSpectroscopy and Absolute Cross-sections
Alfred Müller,Dietrich Bernhardt,Alexander Borovik,T. Buhr,J. Hellhund,K. Holste,A. L. David Kilcoyne,S. Klumpp,Michael Martins,S. Ricz,Jörn Seltmann,Jens Viefhaus,Stefan Schippers +12 more
TL;DR: Muller et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated single, double, and triple photoionization of Ne+ ions by single photons at the synchrotron radiation source PETRA III in Hamburg, Germany.
Journal ArticleDOI
Observation of a four-electron auger process in near- K -edge photoionization of singly charged carbon ions
Alfred Müller,Alexander Borovik,T. Buhr,T. Buhr,J. Hellhund,K. Holste,A. L. D. Kilcoyne,S. Klumpp,Michael Martins,S. Ricz,S. Ricz,Jens Viefhaus,Stefan Schippers +12 more
TL;DR: Single, double, and triple ionization of C(1+) ions by single photons is investigated in the energy range of 286-326 eV, i.e., in the range from the lowest-energy K-vacancy resonances to well beyond the K-shell ionization threshold.
Journal ArticleDOI
Absolute cross sections for photoionization of Xeq + ions (1 ⩽ q ⩽ 5) at the 3d ionization threshold

Williams,Leif Glaser,Frank Scholz,Jörn Seltmann,Jens Viefhaus,Alexander Dorn,Alexander Wolf,Joachim Ullrich,Alfred Müller +29 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the photon-ion merged-beams technique has been employed at the new PETRA III for measuring multiple photoionization of Xeq + (q = 1-5) ions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Williams,Leif Glaser,Frank Scholz,Jörn Seltmann,Jens Viefhaus,Alexander Dorn,Alexander Wolf,Joachim Ullrich,Alfred Müller +28 more
TL;DR: The photon-ion merged-beams technique has been employed at the new Photon-Ion spectrometer at PETRA III (PIPE) for measuring multiple photoionization of Xe$^{q+}$ (q=1-5) ions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electron impact excitation of the (3p54s2)2P3/2,1/2 autoionizing states in potassium
TL;DR: In this article, the excitation functions for the lowest-lying 2P3/2 and (3p54s2)2P1/2 autoionizing states in potassium have been measured for incident-electron energies from threshold to 500 eV and 200 eV, respectively, with improved energy resolution.
