Journal ArticleDOI

Tuning size and thermal hysteresis in bistable spin crossover nanoparticles.

TL;DR: The discovery of bistable magnetic nanoparticles of 6 nm with a wide thermal hysteresis above room temperature showcases the actual possibilities of spin crossover materials for nanotechnological applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Quantum Magnetism of Individual Manganese-12-Acetate Molecular Magnets Anchored at Surfaces

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that electrospray ion beam deposition facilitates grafting of intact Mn(12) molecules on metal as well as ultrathin insulating surfaces enabling submolecular resolution imaging by scanning tunneling microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Correction of the tip convolution effects in the imaging of nanostructures studied through scanning force microscopy

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that for a constant tip radius, the convolution error is increased with the object height, mainly for the narrowest motifs.
Journal ArticleDOI

A New Heptanuclear Cobalt(II) Cluster Encapsulated in a Novel Heteropolyoxometalate Topology: Synthesis, Structure, and Magnetic Properties of [Co7(H2O)2(OH)2P2W25O94]16-

TL;DR: The synthesis and the structural and magnetic characterization of a novel heptanuclear cobalt cluster encapsulated in a heteropolyoxotungstate is reported, showing how it is possible to control the nuclearity of the Co clusters formed in a tungstate solution by slightly changing the synthetic conditions, and the relevance of pH.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prussian Blue@MoS2 Layer Composites as Highly Efficient Cathodes for Sodium- and Potassium-Ion Batteries

TL;DR: In this article, the authors acknowledge the financial support from the Spanish MINECO (MAT2014-56143-R co-financed by FEDER and Excellence Unit “Maria de Maeztu”MDM-2015-0538), the EU (ERC Proof of Concept Hy-MAC (713704), 2D-INK- (664878) and ERC Stg Chem-fs-MOF (714122), and the Generalidad Valenciana (Prometeo Program).
