The technology gives us the opportunity to increase the connectivity of various devices hence we can get an overall security solution. Moreover, as the area of GSM Mobile is widening, we can remotely control and monitor the network enabled devices. The device can also send signal to the remote person whom we want to notify about the threat. The use of this system would be user-friendly, flexible and cost effective. On considering workplace thefts as a major problem, there is a requirement of designing a vandal proof door hardware and locking mechanism for ensuring the security of our property. So the door lock system with extra security features with a user friendly cost is suggested in this paper. When a stranger comes at the door, he/she has to pass three security levels for unlocking the solenoid locks present at the door and if he fails to do so, the door will remain locked. These three levels are of three extraordinary security features as one of them is using Fingerprint sensor, second is using a knocking pattern, and the last lock is unlocked by the preset pin/pattern entered by the user. Since, in addition to these features, there is one more option for the case of appearing of guest at the door and that is the Image capturing using web-camera present at the door and here the owner of the house is able to unlock all the locks if he wants the guest to enter the home. This all will be monitored by Node MCU.

A Review on Internet of Things Based Door Security

Home Automation is on the peak which emphasizes Modern Era Technologies to reduce human effort and automate every single thing in the best possible way. This paper provides a solution which is configured and engineered to perform Dual-Operation and provide comfort along with full security. It uses an Arduino UNO which will handle all the processes acting as the brain of the system along with PIR and Vibration sensors to detect Anonymous activities ensuring full security from theft. LEDs and Buzzers are used to alert the guards in the absence of owners. LDR sensors are used to detect light. Motion detection and light illumination is used to alert guards and residents using IoT. Simulation results show that it provides a cost efficient, secured and automated home automation system.

Structure of an Arduino Based Home Security Automation System

We are leveraging the Internet of Things to build a cheap home security system since home security is a really useful application of technology. In this modern age, security has grown to be a serious worry. For security threats everywhere, automated security systems are a cost-effective answer. A home security system works to safeguard your home and the people inside it against fire, burglary, and other hazards like burst pipes, gas leakages, etc. The goal of this project is to create an Wireless home security system that is smart and IoT-based that can raise an alarm or send a notification to the owner through the Internet if there is a intrusion, leakage of gas, or fire. The user can access the door with a unique key, a password, and biometrics. If someone tries to break into the house through the doors or windows, the system will notify the owner by notifying the user with a notification. The system alerts the user if there is a gas leakage or fire break out and allows the user to control the lights and other smart devices. A microcontroller will be used by the security system to interface between its components, a gas leakage sensor(MQ2), a smoke detecting sensor, a fingerprint scanner or any other biometric sensors, a buzzer, a Reed Sensor, keypad, LCD screen, a video doorbell, smart lights and devices and a Wi-Fi module for connecting and communicating online or via an app. The user can remotely control the doors, security cameras, lights and other smart devices. Data theft and privacy theft can be avoided by proper authentication, identification and encryption of devices.

Now Technology has spread in every field of our lives. In present era, Everybody is having some kind of connectivity with technology whether in form of mobile, laptop or others. Here we are going to discuss the use of technology in field of home security. In this system, we are using ARDUINO UNO microcontroller board. This system is based on door lock security with the help of 2 high level security passwords and simultaneously the system would be connected with owner’s mobile phone through GSM Module So that the owner could open the door from remote location also. When any authorized would try to open the door, he would have to enter 2 passwords when asked to do so. If he enters right passwords then the door will get open. But in case, he enters any of the two or both passwords wrong then the system would get alert and send a message to the owner to ask him whether it is he or not and work accordingly. This system will be guard to Homes, Shops, Banks and institutions etc.

Nowadays in agriculture sector, farmers major problems are related to irrigation. Crops can be destroyed by over- and under-irrigation. This project involves the creation of a smart irrigation system that is connected to the internet of things. An IoT platform built on BLYNK and ESP8266 is established in this paper. which aid user in controlling irrigation at any moment using smartphone, tracking moisture content parameters, reducing his actions, and optimising water utilization. The transducer data has been sent to the IoT platform which user can monitor easily.
