Aggregation Functions: A Guide for Practitioners
TL;DR: A broad introduction into the topic of aggregation functions, and provides a concise account of the properties and the main classes of such functions, including classical means, medians, ordered weighted averaging functions, Choquet and Sugeno integrals, triangular norms, conorms and copulas, uninorms, nullnorms, and symmetric sums.
Journal ArticleDOI
Some properties of overlap and grouping functions and their application to image thresholding
TL;DR: This paper studies under which conditions overlap and grouping functions satisfy some commonly demanded properties such as migrativity or homogeneity and shows one application of this property in image processing.
BookDOI
Advances in Fuzzy Implication Functions
TL;DR: This volume collects 8 research papers on fuzzy implication functions and aims to present todays state-of-the-art in this area.
Journal ArticleDOI
A review of the relationships between implication, negation and aggregation functions from the point of view of material implication
TL;DR: The present paper deals with the translation of the classical logical equivalence p ?
Journal ArticleDOI
A class of aggregation functions encompassing two-dimensional OWA operators
Humberto Bustince,Tomasa Calvo,B. De Baets,János Fodor,Radko Mesiar,Javier Montero,Daniel Paternain,Ana Pradera +7 more
TL;DR: It is proved that, under suitable conditions, Atanassov's K"@a operators, which act on intervals, provide the same numerical results as OWA operators of dimension two, and it is shown that if the authors apply these aggregation functions to interval-valued fuzzy sets, they obtain an ordered family of fuzzy sets.
