Dela Cruz,Akiko Iwasaki,Akiko Iwasaki,Albert I. Ko,Marie L. Landry,Ellen F. Foxman,Nathan D. Grubaugh +45 more
TL;DR: Comparisons of RT–qPCR analytical efficiency and sensitivity show that all primer–probe sets can be used to detect SARS-CoV-2 at 500 viral RNA copies per reaction.
Journal ArticleDOI
SARS-CoV-2 infection of the placenta.
Hillary Hosier,Shelli F. Farhadian,Raffaella A. Morotti,Uma Deshmukh,Alice Lu-Culligan,Katherine H. Campbell,Yuki Yasumoto,Chantal B.F. TL;DR: This case demonstrates SARS-CoV-2 invasion of the placenta, highlighting the potential for severe morbidity among pregnant women with Covid-19.
Journal ArticleDOI
Coast-to-Coast Spread of SARS-CoV-2 during the Early Epidemic in the United States.

Grubaugh +43 more
TL;DR: It is shown that early SARS-CoV-2 transmission in Connecticut was likely driven by domestic introductions, and the risk of domestic importation to Connecticut exceeded that of international importation by mid-March regardless of the estimated effects of federal travel restrictions.

Dela Cruz,Akiko Iwasaki,Albert I. Ko,Marie-Louise Landry,Ellen F. Foxman,Nathan D. Grubaugh +44 more
TL;DR: It is shown that all primer-probe sets can be used to detect SARS-CoV-2 at 500 virus copies per reaction, except for the RdRp-SARSr (Charite) confirmatory primer-Probe set which has low sensitivity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Protein-Protein Interactions in Virus-Host Systems.
Anderson F. Brito,John W. Pinney +1 more
TL;DR: The last sections of this review article focus on PPI experimental approaches and their limitations, and provide an overview of sources of biomolecular data for studying virus–host protein interactions.
