Zhanyong Li,Neil M. Schweitzer,Aaron B. League,Varinia Bernales,Aaron W. Peters,Andrew “Bean” Getsoian,Timothy C. Wang,Jeffrey T. Miller,Jeffrey T. Miller,Aleksei Vjunov,John L. Fulton,Johannes A. Lercher,Johannes A. Lercher,Christopher J. Cramer,Laura Gagliardi,Joseph T. Hupp,Omar K. Farha,Omar K. Farha +17 more
TL;DR: A method for installing Ni ions uniformly and precisely on the node of a Zr-based metal-organic framework (MOF) in high density and large quantity (denoted as Ni-AIM) using atomic layer deposition (ALD) in a MOF (AIM).
Journal ArticleDOI
Selective propane dehydrogenation with single-site CoII on SiO2 by a non-redox mechanism
Bo Hu,Bo Hu,Andrew “Bean” Getsoian,Neil M. Schweitzer,Neil M. Schweitzer,Ujjal Das,Hacksung Kim,Hacksung Kim,Jens Niklas,Oleg G. Poluektov,Larry A. Curtiss,Peter C. Stair,Peter C. Stair,Jeffrey T. Miller,Adam S. Hock,Adam S. Hock +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the synthesis, characterization, and catalytic performance for gas phase propane dehydrogenation of single-site Co2+ ions supported on silica was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Band-Gap Energy as a Descriptor of Catalytic Activity for Propene Oxidation over Mixed Metal Oxide Catalysts
TL;DR: Both the utility of the band-gap energy as a descriptor for catalytic activity and the role of orbital overlap in determining the band gap are likely to be general features in mixed metal oxide oxidation catalysts, enabling the rational design of catalysts with greater activity for oxidation reactions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Organometallic model complexes elucidate the active gallium species in alkane dehydrogenation catalysts based on ligand effects in Ga K-edge XANES
Andrew “Bean” Getsoian,Ujjal Das,Jeffrey Camacho-Bunquin,Guanghui Zhang,Guanghui Zhang,James R. Gallagher,Bo Hu,Bo Hu,Singfoong Cheah,Joshua A. Schaidle,Daniel A. Ruddy,Jesse E. Hensley,Theodore Krause,Larry A. Curtiss,Jeffrey T. Miller,Jeffrey T. Miller,Adam S. Hock,Adam S. Hock +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of molecular model compounds and grafted surface organometallic Ga species were synthesized and compared to those of gallium-based catalysts acquired under reducing conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of Isolated Ga3+ Cations in Ga/H-MFI Prepared by Vapor-Phase Exchange of H-MFI Zeolite with GaCl3
Neelay M. Phadke,Jeroen Van der Mynsbrugge,Erum Mansoor,Andrew “Bean” Getsoian,Martin Head-Gordon,Alexis T. Bell +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a vapor phase reaction of GaCl3 with Bronsted acid O-H groups in dehydrated H-MFI zeolite is described, and the resulting [GaCl2]+ cations in the as-exchanged zeolites are treated in H2 at 823.
