TL;DR: The title molecular salt, C8H12N+·C7H5O3 − arose from the proton-transfer reaction between 2,5-xylidine and salicylic acid, and features weak C—H⋯O bonds and aromatic π–π stacking [centroid-to-centroid distance = 3.7416 (10) Å] interactions, which lead to a three-dimensional network.
Abstract: The title molecular salt, C8H12N+·C7H5O3− arose from the proton-transfer reaction between 2,5-xylidine and salicylic acid. In the anion, the dihedral angle between the planes of the aromatic ring and the –CO2− group is 11.08 (8)°; this near planarity is consolidated by an intramolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bond. In the crystal, the components are connected by N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, with all three O atoms in the anion acting as acceptors; the result is a [100] chain. The structure also features weak C—H⋯O bonds and aromatic π–π stacking [centroid-to-centroid distance = 3.7416 (10) A] interactions, which lead to a three-dimensional network.

TL;DR: In this paper, an experimental investigation is performed in a rectangular cavity of dimension 46 mm x 23 mm with protruded copper half cylinders of diameter 15.8 mm (5/8 inch) each.
Abstract: Natural convection studies in an enclosure are very relevant since it spans a wide area of applications such as heat exchangers, chemical reactors, cooling of electronic equipment, etc. In the present study, an experimental investigation is performed in a rectangular cavity of dimension 46 mm x 23 mm with protruded copper half cylinders of diameter 15.8 mm (5/8 inch) each. Interferometry has always been a good technique for accurate measurements of temperature gradients. Mach-Zehnder interferometer is employed for visualising the isotherms and for quantitatively inferring the temperature gradient. The protruded half cylinders are maintained at constant temperature, ranging from 60°C to 120°C using an electric cartridge heater and associated temperature controller setup. A He-Ne laser with 24mm collimated beam size is used for experimental purposes. Temperature gradient variation along the radial direction is plotted against the circumferential angle of the cylinder and isotherm merging angle is determined for varying time step and varying cylinder surface temperature.

TL;DR: In this paper, the band gap energy for pure and doped L-Alanine tartrate was calculated from the Tauc's plot and the optical absorption coefficient and reflectance were calculated for both pure and Doped material.
Abstract: Detailed studies on various optical constants were calculated for solution growth crystals of pure and Lanthanum doped single crystals of L-Alanine Tartrate. Slow evaporation technique was used to grow pure L-Alanine Tartrate and Lanthanum doped L-Alanine Tartrate single crystals. Optical absorbance study was carried out by UV-VIS spectrophotometer and it helps to calculate different optical constants. Band gap energy for Pure and doped L-Alanine tartrate was calculated from the Tauc’s plot. Optical absorption coefficient and reflectance were calculated for both pure and doped material. Refractive index and reflectance coefficient were calculated. Extinction coefficient of both L-Alanine Tartrate and Lanthanum doped L-Alanine tartrate was found with respect to absorption coefficient

TL;DR: In this paper, a comprehensive literature review on ejector refrigeration systems and working fluids is presented, which deeply analyzes ejector technology and behavior, refrigerant properties and their influence over ejector performance.
Abstract: The increasing need for thermal comfort has led to a rapid increase in the use of cooling systems and, consequently, electricity demand for air-conditioning systems in buildings. Heat-driven ejector refrigeration systems appear to be a promising alternative to the traditional compressor-based refrigeration technologies for energy consumption reduction. This paper presents a comprehensive literature review on ejector refrigeration systems and working fluids. It deeply analyzes ejector technology and behavior, refrigerant properties and their influence over ejector performance and all of the ejector refrigeration technologies, with a focus on past, present and future trends. The review is structured in four parts. In the first part, ejector technology is described. In the second part, a detailed description of the refrigerant properties and their influence over ejector performance is presented. In the third part, a review focused on the main jet refrigeration cycles is proposed, and the ejector refrigeration systems are reported and categorized. Finally, an overview over all ejector technologies, the relationship among the working fluids and the ejector performance, with a focus on past, present and future trends, is presented.
