Abstract: Notebook 24. § (1). The type of journalism considered in these notes is what could be called “integral” journalism (in the sense that will become increasingly clear in the course of the notes themselves) i.e., the kind of journalism that not only seeks to satisfy all the needs (of a certain category) of its public, but also seeks to create and develop these needs and therefore to rouse its public in order to progressively expand it. If one examines all existing forms of journalism or of publishing and editorial activity in general, it can be seen that each one of these presupposes other forces to integrate or to “mechanically” coordinate.
