High-temperature creep resistance and effects on the austenite reversion and precipitation of 18 Ni (300) maraging steel
Adriano Gonçalves dos Reis,Adriano Gonçalves dos Reis,Danieli Aparecida Pereira Reis,Danieli Aparecida Pereira Reis,Antonio Jorge Abdalla,Jorge Otubo,Jorge Otubo +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of high-temperature creep resistance on the evolution of martensite precipitates of maraging 300 steel and found that the main strengthening mechanism in a solution treated and aged material is the fine needle shaped Ni 3 (Ti,Mo) precipitates densely dispersed in a single martensitic phase.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanical behaviour of strain aged dual phase steels
Antonio Jorge Abdalla,Luis Rogerio de Oliveira Hein,Marcelo dos Santos Pereira,Tomaz Manabu Hashimoto +3 more
TL;DR: In this article, the cold deformation aging susceptibility of carbon steel API-5L B and microalloyed steel API -5L X52 with dual phase microstructures was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microstructural effects on fatigue crack growth behavior of a microalloyed steel
Denise Ferreira Laurito,Carlos Antonio Reis Pereira Baptista,M.A.S. Torres,Antonio Jorge Abdalla +3 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of microstructure on the tensile strength and fatigue crack growth (FCG) behavior of a 0.08%C-1,5%Mn (wt. pct.) microalloyed steel, recently developed by a Brazilian steel maker under the designation of RD480.
Journal ArticleDOI
An Analysis of the Mechanical Behavior of AISI 4130 Steel after TIG and Laser Welding Process
TL;DR: In this article, a post-weld heat treatment was conducted to evaluate the influence of laser beam welding on the tensile and hardness properties of AISI 4130 steel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanical and microstructural characterization of laser-welded joints of 6013-T4 aluminum alloy
Rafael Humberto Mota de Siqueira,Aline Capella de Oliveira,Rudimar Riva,Antonio Jorge Abdalla,Carlos Antonio Reis Pereira Baptista,Milton Sergio Fernandes de Lima +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, a fiber laser with an average power of 1.5kW was used to weld two 1.6-mm-thick sheets in T-joint configuration.
