TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the tectonic boundary between two of these microblocks, the Shevaroy Block to the west and the Madras Block to east, termed as the Nallamalai Suture Zone (NLSZ), and presented integrated field, petrological, geochemical and zircon U-Pb and Lu-Hf data from a suite of meta-igneous and metasedimentary units along the NLSZ and its flanks.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: Detailed quantitative analyses of the present study revealed that N. tigrina attacks opportunistically on all infaunal and epifaunal intertidal bivalve and gastropod prey taxa, indicating that the predator was highly efficient.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented zircon U-Pb geochronology and geochemistry of these rocks to constrain the greenstone-basement relationship and crustal growth events in the western Dharwar Craton.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate a gabbro-anorthosite complex from the eastern margin of the Singhbhum craton exposed at Besoi, Kuliana, Sarat and Jashipura areas.

Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: The gold bearing banded sulphidic cherts from the Neoarchean Sandur greenstone belt of western Dharwar Craton have been reported in this article in order to understand their geochemical characteristics, source of gold mineralization and depositional conditions.

TL;DR: Mantle plumes as tracers of mantle processes as mentioned in this paper have been shown to be useful in the formation of hotspots and mantle upwellings in the Archean and in the creation of large igneous provinces.
