Reconstruction of signal amplitudes in the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter in the presence of overlapping proton-proton interactions

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2276 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a template fitting technique for reconstructing the amplitude of signals produced by the lead tungstate crystals of the CMS electromagnetic calorimeter is described, which is designed to suppress the contribution to the signal of the increased number of out-of-time interactions per beam crossing following the reduction of the accelerator bunch spacing from 50 to 25 ns at the start of Run 2 of the LHC.

Search for $\mathrm{t\overline{t}}$H production in the $H\to\mathrm{b\overline{b}}$ decay channel with leptonic $\mathrm{t\overline{t}}$ decays in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=$ 13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2297 more
Journal ArticleDOI

Azimuthal correlations for inclusive 2-jet, 3-jet, and 4-jet events in pp collisions at √s=13TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2231 more
TL;DR: Azimuthal correlations between the two jets with the largest transverse momenta p_T in inclusive 2-, 3-, and 4-jet events are presented for several regions of the leading jet up to 4TeV in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for ZZ resonances in the 2ℓ2ν final state in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2341 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for heavy resonances decaying to a pair of Z bosons was performed using data collected with the CMS detector at the LHC using data from proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb^(−1).
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for direct pair production of scalar top quarks in the single- and dilepton channels in proton-proton collisions at root s=8 TeV

Vardan Khachatryan, +2260 more
