Regularized Kurtosis Imaging and its Comparison with Regularized Log Spectral Difference and Regularized Nakagami Imaging for Microwave Hyperthermia Hotspot Monitoring

TL;DR: An improved method of regularized Kurtosis imaging (RKI) is introduced and its performance against regularized log spectral difference (RLSD) and regularized Nakagami imaging methods are compared and offer an alternative way to track the hotspot during microwave hyperthermia treatment.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Axial Super-Resolution in Ultrasound Imaging

TL;DR: In this paper, the axial super-resolution capability of both simulated and experimental ultrasound data is demonstrated by modeling the ultrasound reflections as FRI signals, which can be sampled at sub-Nyquist rates.

A Novel Two-element Scanner for High-frequency Ultrasound Imaging

TL;DR: In this article , a hybrid two-element scanner (HyTES) was proposed for high-frequency ultrasound imaging, which utilizes a combination of a focused and an unfocused highfrequency transducer elements to improve the quality of reconstructed image.
