Image Analysis for MRI Based Brain Tumor Detection and Feature Extraction Using Biologically Inspired BWT and SVM

TL;DR: Berkeley wavelet transformation (BWT) based brain tumor segmentation is investigated to improve the accuracy and quality rate of the support vector machine (SVM) based classifier, relevant features are extracted from each segmented tissue.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative Approach of MRI-Based Brain Tumor Segmentation and Classification Using Genetic Algorithm

TL;DR: Comparison approach of different segmentation techniques is investigated and the genetic algorithm is employed for the automatic classification of tumor stage and the effectiveness of the proposed technique for identifying normal and abnormal tissues from brain MR images is demonstrated.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Analysis of various image feature extraction methods against noisy image: SIFT, SURF and HOG

TL;DR: It is observed from the experimental results that for most of the noisy images, SIFT presents its stability but it is slow and SURF is the fastest one and its performance is close to SIFT, however, HOG show its advantages in detecting edge and texture information of image.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient hybrid image denoising scheme based on SVM classification

TL;DR: Experiments indicate that the proposed hybrid scheme performs betterDenoising performance, particularly in preserving edges and textures as compared to existing denoising method.
Journal ArticleDOI

An efficient reverse auction mechanism for limited supplier base

TL;DR: A novel multi-attribute relationship-preserving reverse auction mechanism for a limited supplier base with a penalty scheme integrated with winner determination model to deal with the untruthful behavior of the buyer and the suppliers is proposed.
