Synthesis, magnetic and dielectric properties of Er-Ni doped Sr-hexaferrite nanomaterials for applications in High density recording media and microwave devices
Muhammad Naeem Ashiq,Muhammad Javed Iqbal,Muhammad Najam-ul-Haq,Pablo Hernandez Gomez,Ashfaq Mahmood Qureshi +4 more
TL;DR: A sol-gel combustion method has been successfully employed for the synthesis of Sr-hexaferrite nanomaterials doped with Er3+ and Ni2+ at strontium and iron sites, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and Urease Inhibition Studies of Barbituric and Thiobarbituric Acid Derived Sulphonamides
Abdur Rauf,Faiz Ahmed,Ashfaq Mahmood Qureshi,Aziz-ur-Rehman,Ajmal Khan,Muhammad Imran Qadir,M. I. Choudhary,Zahid H. Chohan,M. H. Youssoufid,T. Ben Haddad +9 more
TL;DR: Various novel barbenuric and thiobarbituric acid derived sulphonamides were synthesized in excellent yield via three components single pot reaction; and these were screened for in vitro urease inhibition studies against jack bean ure enzyme.
Journal ArticleDOI
Facile Synthesis of Novel Carbon Dots@Metal Organic Framework Composite for Remarkable and Highly Sustained Oxygen Evolution Reaction
Muhammad Yousaf ur Rehman,Sumaira Manzoor,Nosheen Nazar,Abdul Ghafoor Abid,Ashfaq Mahmood Qureshi,Adeel Hussain Chughtai,Khurram Saleem Joya,Afzal Shah,Afzal Shah,Muhammad Naeem Ashiq +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a Ni-based mixed linker metal organic framework (MOF) was synthesized using 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (BTC) and 4,4`-bipyridine (bpy) as organic linkers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Removal of methylene blue from aqueous solution using acid/base treated rice husk as an adsorbent
Muhammad Naeem Ashiq,Muhammad Najam-ul-Haq,Tahira Amanat,Ambreen Saba,Ashfaq Mahmood Qureshi,Muhammad Nadeem +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the adsorption capacity (q m) of the chemically modified rice husk was found to be 93.5 mg/g at a temperature of 298 ˚K which suggests that the treated rice hulls can be efficiently used for the removal of methylene blue (MB) from aqueous media.
Journal ArticleDOI
A Comparative Study of Cerium- and Ytterbium-Based GO/g-C3N4/Fe2O3 Composites for Electrochemical and Photocatalytic Applications
Nosheen Farooq,Rafael Luque,Mahmoud M. Hessien,Ashfaq Mahmood Qureshi,Farzana Sahiba,Muhammad Altaf Nazir,Aziz ur Rehman +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of ytterbium oxide-based nanocomposite is compared to that of cerium-based material, which can be assumed with the difference in particle size, as confirmed from structural studies including XRD.
