Modern Wound Dressings: Hydrogel Dressings
TL;DR: In this paper, a mini review of traditional and modern wound dressings with an emphasis on hydrogels is presented, where the advantages and disadvantages of traditional wound dressing and their applicability to different chronic wounds are elucidated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clonal chromosomal and genomic instability during human multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells long-term culture.
Victoria Nikitina,Astrelina Ta,Vladimir Nugis,Aleksandr Ostashkin,Tatiana Karaseva,Ekaterina Dobrovolskaya,Dariya Usupzhanova,Yulia Suchkova,Elena Lomonosova,Sergey Rodin,Vitaliy Brunchukov,Stanislav Lauk-Dubitskiy,Valentin Brumberg,Anastasia Machova,I. Kobzeva,Andrey Bushmanov,Aleksandr Samoilov +16 more
TL;DR: There is a need for rigorous genetic analyses of the clone formation in cultured MSCs before use in medicine, as the results of this study strongly suggest.
Journal ArticleDOI
Meldonium long‐term excretion period and pharmacokinetics in blood and urine of healthy athlete volunteers
Olivier Rabin,Vladimir Uiba,Yulia Miroshnikova,Maksim Zabelin,Aleksander Samoylov,Vladislav Karkischenko,Sergey Semyonov,Astrelina Ta,Sergey Razinkin +8 more
TL;DR: The study found meldonium takes several days to attain a steady state in blood and displays an elimination period over several months after cessation of treatment, and findings demonstrate that the daily dose, periodicity and duration of treatment with meldonia are the most important factors to consider in calculating the substance's elimination and complete body clearance.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Mesenchymal Stem Cells of the Placenta and Their Conditioned Medium in Local Radiation Injuries.
Vitaliy Brunchukov,Astrelina Ta,D. Usupzhanova,Anna Rastorgueva,I. Kobzeva,Victoria Nikitina,Sergei Lishchuk,E. A. Dubova,K. A. Pavlov,Valentin Brumberg,Marc Benderitter,Alexander Samoylov +11 more
TL;DR: The use of a concentrate of conditioned MSCs (CMPL group) in severe LRI in laboratory animals accelerates the transition of the wound process to the stage of regeneration and epithelization.
