Abstract: Land evaluation procedure given by FAO for soil site suitability for various land utilization types has been used to assess the land suitability for different crops and for generating cropping pattern for kharif (summer) and rabi (winter) seasons in Kheragarah tehsil of Agra. Kheragarah tehsil suffers from many types of land degradation such as such as salinity, watelogging, ravines, degraded hills and rock quarries (AIS & LUS, 2000). The database on soil, land use/land cover was generated from data derived from IRS -P6 remote sensing satellite and soil survey to perform an integrated analysis in the geographic information system environment. Agricultural and non-agricultural lands were delineated using the Decision Tree Classifier (DTC) and non-agricultural areas were masked for removal from future analysis. Different soil chemical parameters and physical parameters were evaluated for different crops. Subsequently all of them were integrated using a multi criteria decision making and GIS to generate the land suitability maps for various crops. Kharif and rabi season cropping patterns maps were developed by integrating crop suitability maps for the winter and summer seasons separately. Results indicated that about 55 % is highly suitable (S1) for sugarcane and 60%, 54% and 48 % of the area are moderately suitable (S2) for cultivation pearl millet, mustard and rice respectively. 50 % of the area is found to be marginally suitable (S3) for growing maize. It was also found that better land use options could be implemented in different land units as the conventional land evaluation methods suffer from limitation of spatial analysis for the suitability of various crops.

TL;DR: This paper proposes the implementation and analysis of cascaded multilevel inverter with reduce THD, and the implemented Cascaded H-bridge Multilevel Inverter topology is a practical topology; it provides the generalized path to increase the level of multileVEL inverter as the authors want.
Abstract: In the recent years the multilevel inverters were widely discussed topic for researchers. Because of few merits of having good power quality. Basically inverter is a converter, which is capable in converting the DC power into AC power at desired level. The two level output, zero or positive or negative V dc can be obtained by voltage source inverter(VSI). The multilevel inverter is capable to produce sinusoidal output voltage and to reduce Total Harmonic Distortion at desired voltage level. As we increase the level of voltage, the output power quality gets improved, i.e. THD gets reduced. This paper proposes the implementation and analysis of cascaded multilevel inverter with reduce THD. The implemented Cascaded H-bridge Multilevel Inverter topology is a practical topology; it provides the generalized path to increase the level of multilevel inverter as we want. In the represented model of eleven level single phase Cascaded H-bridge Multilevel Inverter has been designed using IGBT in order to generate the different output voltage levels at proper intervals, the conduction angle of IGBTs have been controlled by varying the pulse width of getting signals. Simulation models is developed in MATLAB-SIMULINK of eleven levels inverters and THD analysis is performed.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors compared different roughages for CH4 emission in buffalo inoculums with the objective to rank dry roughages and correlate their nutritional constituents with CH4 production.
Abstract: Dry roughages, viz. wheat straw (WS), rice straw (RS), barley straw (BS), oat straw (OS), gram straw (GS), lentil straw (LS), sorghum stover (SST), pearl millet stover (PMST), maize stover (MST) and dry mixed grass (DG) fed to livestock were characterized for carbohydrate and protein fractions, energy, in vitro dry matter digestibility (IVDMD) and in vitro methane (CH4) emission in buffalo inoculums with the objective to rank dry roughages for CH4 emission, and to correlate their nutritional constituents with CH4 production. Crude protein (CP) was more (P < 0.05) in LS, whereas MST had higher (P < 0.05) CP than SST and PMST. Protein fraction A (PA) (%CP) was higher in SST and BS, whereas protein fraction C (PC) (%CP) was highest (P < 0.05) in RS and lowest in LS. Carbohydrate fraction C (CC) (%DM) was higher (P < 0.05) in GS, LS and DG, and lowest in MST. Carbohydrate fraction A (CA) (%DM) was higher (P < 0.05) in GS and LS (17.51 and 20.54) and lowest in WS and RS (2.99 and 2.04). Gross energy (GE) of roughages ranged between 16.89 and 18.67 kJ g. CH4 production (ml g) was higher (P < 0.05) from LS, BS and MST at 12, 24 and 48 h of incubation. CH4 production (g kg DDM (digestible dry matter)) varied (P < 0.05) from 27.46 in MST to 47.37 in WS. CH4% of GE was higher (P < 0.05) from LS and BS, and lowest from SST and MST. NDF, ADF, cellulose and lignin were negatively associated, whereas OM, ether extract (EE) and GE were positively associated with CH4. Acid detergent insoluble protein (ADIP), protein fraction B3 (PB3) and PC were negatively associated with CH4 production. Non-structural carbohydrate (NSC) and CA were positively correlated with CH4 (r = 0.40* and r = 0.43**). It is concluded that CH4 production (g kg DDM) was higher from WS followed by LS, BS, OS, GS, PMST, RS, DG, MST and SST respectively. Energy, ADIP, PC, NSC and CA are the chemical constituents that significantly affect CH4 production from dry roughages.

TL;DR: It is shown how the random key stream can be used to create lifetime supply of keys for one time pads, by the suitable combination of permutation and substitution techniques.
Abstract: In this paper, we proposed a new scheme to enhance the security of data Encryption scheme. With cascading of data encryption standard in three times, we become able to counter the famous meet in middle attack in double and triple data encryption standard. We show how the random key stream can be used to create lifetime supply of keys for one time pads. Here we provided the practical approach that we can use to set up our own one-time pad encryption. For simplicity let's study how randomized key can be achieved. Random key generation can simply be obtained via use of permutation. Permutation technique can be used in conjunction with other technique includes substitution, encryption function etc. for effective performance. The goal of this article to show how the one-time pad encryption technique can be achieved by the suitable combination of these techniques.

TL;DR: In this paper, an analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method was used to determine suitable lands for agricultural use in the Yusufeli district of Artvin city (Turkey), where the current agricultural land in the district center and 3 villages will be completely inundated while the land in 22 villages would be partially inundated due to three large dams currently being constructed.

TL;DR: A systematic evolution of the surface conductance as a function of thickness is revealed and a striking manifestation of the topological protection is found: the metallic surface transport abruptly diminishes below the critical thickness of ~6 nm, at which an energy gap opens in the surface state and the Dirac fermions become massive.
Abstract: The massless Dirac fermions residing on the surface of three-dimensional topological insulators are protected from backscattering and cannot be localized by disorder, but such protection can be lifted in ultrathin films when the three-dimensionality is lost. By measuring the Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations in a series of high-quality Bi2Se3 thin films, we revealed a systematic evolution of the surface conductance as a function of thickness and found a striking manifestation of the topological protection: The metallic surface transport abruptly diminishes below the critical thickness of ~6 nm, at which an energy gap opens in the surface state and the Dirac fermions become massive. At the same time, the weak antilocalization behavior is found to weaken in the gapped phase due to the loss of π Berry phase.
