Ammonium chloride-catalyzed one-pot synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones under solvent-free conditions

TL;DR: Ammonium chloride as a very inexpensive and readily available reagent, and efficiently catalyzes one-pot, three component, Biginelli condensation reactions of aldehydes, 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds and urea or thiourea under solvent-free conditions to afford the corresponding 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones in high yields at 100°C.
Journal ArticleDOI

One-pot, three-component route to 2H-indazolo[2,1-b]phthalazine-triones

TL;DR: In this article, a simple and efficient method from the three-component condensation reaction of phthalhydrazide, dimedone, and aromatic aldehydes under solvent-free conditions was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Solvent-free synthesis of aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes and 1,8-dioxo-octahydro-xanthenes using silica sulfuric acid as catalyst

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple and efficient method for the synthesis of aryl-14 H -dibenzo[ a, j ]xanthenes and 1,8-dioxo-octahydro-xanthens using silica sulfuric acid as a reusable eco-friendly catalyst under solvent-free conditions is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ultrasound-assisted one-pot, three-component synthesis of 1H-pyrazolo[1,2-b]phthalazine-5,10-diones.

TL;DR: Triethylamine was found to be an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of 1H-pyrazolo[1,2-b]phthalazine-5,10-diones by one-pot reaction of phthalhydrazide, aromatic aldehydes, and malononitrile or ethyl cyanoacetate in ethanol under ultrasonic irradiation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dowex-50W promoted synthesis of 14-aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthene and 1,8-dioxo-octahydroxanthene derivatives under solvent-free conditions

TL;DR: In this article, an efficient method for the synthesis of aryl-14-H -dibenzo[a, j ]xanthenes and 1,8-dioxo-octahydroxanthenses using Dowex-50W ion exchange resin as reusable eco-friendly catalyst under solvent-free conditions is described.
