Effects of Multisite Biventricular Pacing in Patients with Heart Failure and Intraventricular Conduction Delay
Serge Cazeau,Christophe Leclercq,Thomas Lavergne,S Walker,Varma C,Cecilia Linde,Stéphane Garrigue,Lukas Kappenberger,G A Haywood,Massimo Santini,Bailleul C,Jean-Claude Daubert,Multisite Stimulation in Cardiomyopathies (Mustic) Study Investigators +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, transvenous atriobiventricular pacemakers (with leads in one atrium and each ventricle) were used to reduce ventricular asynchrony.
Journal ArticleDOI
Long-term benefits of biventricular pacing in congestive heart failure: results from the MUltisite STimulation in cardiomyopathy (MUSTIC) study
Cecilia Linde,Christophe Leclercq,S. Rex,Stéphane Garrigue,Thomas Lavergne,Serge Cazeau,William J. McKenna,Melissa Fitzgerald,Jean-Claude Deharo,Christine Alonso,S Walker,Frieder Braunschweig,Bailleul C,Jean-Claude Daubert +13 more
TL;DR: The clinical benefits of BiV pacing appeared to be significantly maintained over a 12-month follow-up period.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparative effects of permanent biventricular and right-univentricular pacing in heart failure patients with chronic atrial fibrillation.
Christophe Leclercq,S Walker,Cecilia Linde,Jacques Clementy,A.J. Marshall,Philippe Ritter,P. Djiane,Philippe Mabo,T. Levy,Fredrik Gadler,Bailleul C,Jean-Claude Daubert +11 more
TL;DR: Effective biventricular pacing seems to improve exercise tolerance in NYHA class III heart failure patients with chronic atrial fibrillation and wide paced-QRS complexes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Long-term improvements in quality of life by biventricular pacing in patients with chronic heart failure: results from the Multisite Stimulation in Cardiomyopathy study (MUSTIC).
TL;DR: The MUSTIC trial as mentioned in this paper evaluated the effects of biventricular pacing in patients in New York Heart Association class III heart failure with intraventricular conduction delay, and found substantial benefits in quality of life for most broad domains of quality-of-life and cardiovascular symptoms.
Features and Predictors of Ascending Aortic Dilatation in Association With a Congenital Bicuspid Aortic Valve
Cazeau S,Leclercq C,S Walker,Varma C,Linde C,Garrigue S,Kappenberger L,Bailleul C,Daubert Jc +8 more
TL;DR: Recommendations for quantitation of the left ventricle by two-dimensional echocardiography are presented.
