Journal ArticleDOI
Simultaneous measurements of Seebeck coefficient and thermal conductivity across superlattice
TL;DR: In this article, an Au/Cr pattern serves as both a heater and a thermometer, and a microprobe is prepared between the heater and the thin film to extract the Seebeck voltage.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clear Wood toward High-Performance Building Materials.
Chao Jia,Chaoji Chen,Ruiyu Mi,Tian Li,Jiaqi Dai,Zhi Yang,Yong Pei,Shuaiming He,Huiyang Bian,Soo-Hwan Jang,Junyong Zhu,Bao Yang,Liangbing Hu +12 more
TL;DR: The developed clear wood, combining excellent thermal insulating and optical properties, represents an attractive alternative to common glass toward energy-efficient buildings.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spayde,Raphael Noel Tieulent,Evgeni Tsentalovich,S. Wells,Bao Yang,T. Zwart +34 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that the symmetry violation of mirror symmetry in the weak force provides a powerful tool to study the internal structure of the proton, which has important implications for precision weak interaction studies in atomic systems such as cesium.
Journal ArticleDOI
Parity violation in elastic electron-proton scattering and the proton's strange magnetic form factor
D. T. Spayde,T. Averett,D.H. Barkhuff,Douglas H Beck,E. J. Beise,C. Benson,H. Breuer,R. Carr,S. Covrig,J. DelCorso,G. W. Dodson,K. A. Dow,C. Eppstein,M. Farkhondeh,B. W. Filippone,P. Frazier,R. Savu,Matthew James Sullivan,Raphael Noel Tieulent,Evgeni Tsentalovich,S. P. Wells,Bao Yang,T. Zwart +36 more
TL;DR: A new measurement of the parity-violating asymmetry in elastic electron scattering from the proton at backward scattering angles is reported and the implications for the strange magnetic form factor are discussed in the context of theoretical estimates for the axial corrections.
