Applications of hybrid organic–inorganic nanocomposites

TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a vectorial chemistry approach for the generation of new generations of hybrid materials, which will open a land of promising applications in many areas: optics, electronics, ionics, mechanics, energy, environment, biology, medicine for example as membranes and separation devices, functional smart coatings, fuel and solar cells, catalysts, sensors, etc.
Journal ArticleDOI

Low-temperature synthesis of SrAl2O4 by a modified sol–gel route: XRD and Raman characterization

TL;DR: In this paper, XRD and Raman scattering solid solutions of the SrAl2−xBxO4 system ( x ⩽ 0.3 ) obtained by two different methods, a ceramic route and a modified sol-gel synthesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and Characterization of Transparent PDMS−Metal-Oxo Based Organic−Inorganic Nanocomposites

TL;DR: In this article, a structural analysis of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)−metal-oxo nanocomposites has been performed by FTIR, Raman, and multinuclear NMR (1H, 13C, and 29Si) spectroscopies, SAXS, and DSC measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Environmental study of Cr2O3-Al2O3 green ceramic pigment synthesis

TL;DR: A green pigment was synthesised based on a Cr2 xAlxO3 solid solution, using a standard ceramic industry composition with and without different mineralisers and using raw materials industrial grade reagents as mentioned in this paper.
