TL;DR: For el estado de Guanajuato, registros de reptiles include Lampropeltis triangulum dixoni, Leptodeira annulata cusiliris, Oxybelis aeneus, Tropidodipsas sartorii and Scincella silvicola caudaequinae as mentioned in this paper.

TL;DR: Five new reptile records for the Mexican state of Guanajuato are reported: Lampropeltis triangulum dixoni, Leptodeira annulata cusiliris, Oxybelis aeneus, Tropidodipsas sartorii, and Scincella silvicola caudaequinae.
Abstract: Five new reptile records for the Mexican state of Guanajuato are reported: Lampropeltis triangulum dixoni, Leptodeira annulata cusiliris, Oxybelis aeneus, Tropidodipsas sartorii, and Scincella silvicola caudaequinae. These records are within western versant of the Sierra Gorda at Sierra Gorda de Guanajuato. Evidence is given that supports the idea that the area supports a herpetofaunal assemblage of tropical affinities.

TL;DR: In this paper, a pareja de aguila real ( Aquila chrysaetos) cazando in the localidad de Mesita del Tigre, municipio de Victoria, Guanajuato, Mexico was documented.

TL;DR: A checklist of the herpetofa una for the SIERRA de SANTA ROSA, GUANAJUATO, RESULTED FROM SIX FIELD TRIPS in a two-year period.
Abstract: A CHECKLIST OF THE HERPETOFAUNA FOR THE SIERRA DE SANTA ROSA, GUANAJUATO, RESULTED FROM SIX FIELD TRIPS IN A TWO YEARS PERIOD IS PRESENTED. THE ACTUAL DIVERSITY IS COMPARED WITH THAT REPORTED BY A. DUGES (1869, 1895, 1896) DENOTING THOSE SPECIES CATALOGUED IN THE NORMA OFICIAL MEXICANA (NOM-059-ECOL-1994). THIRTY ONE SPECIES WERE REGISTERED (11 AMPHIBIANS AND 20 REPTILES), SEVEN MORE THAN THOSE REPORTED BY DUGES. BECOMING THE SIERA DE SANTA ROSA ONE OF THE MAJOR SITES OF HERPETOFAUNA DIVERSITY IN THE STATE OF GUANAJUATO. THE FROGS HYLAMIOTYMPANUM, SMILISCA BAUDINI, AND ELEUTHERODACTYLUS NITIDUS, THE LIZARD SCELOPORUS MINOR, AND THE SNAKES TOLUCA LINEATA AND CROTALUS MOLOSSUS NIGRESCENS ARE NEW RECORDS FOR THE SIERRA DE SANTA ROSA, AND THE SNAKE RAMPHOTHYLOPS BRAMINUS IS ALSO A NEW RECORD FOR THE STATE OF GUANAJUATO. ONLY A 18% OF THE AMPHIBIANS AND 48% OF THE REPTILES ARE LISTED IN THE NOM-059-ECOT.-1994, BEING HABITAT DESTRUCTION THEIR MAJOR THREAT. SCELOPORUS AENEUS AND S. SCALARIS SEEM TO BE EXTIRPATED, HOWEVER, MOST SPECIES OF AMPHIBIANS AND REPTILES REPORTED REPORTED BY DUGES MORE THAN 100 YEARS AGO, HAVE SURVIVED LOCAL EXTINCTION. THE SNAKE SENTICOLIS TRIASPIS INTERMEDIUS IS A NEW RECORD FOR THE STATE OF GUANAJUATO, ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT PART OF THE HERPETOFAUNA OF THE SIERRA DE SANTA ROSA.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented distribution range extentions for five species of mammals from the Sierra Gorda de Guanajuato Biosphere Reserve in state of Mexico, including two felids: Lynx rufus and Puma concolor, as well as the western speckled skunk Spilogale gracilis, the peccari Dicotyles crassus, and the coati Nasua narica
Abstract: We present distribution range extentions for five species of mammals from the Sierra Gorda de Guanajuato Biosphere Reserve in state of Guanajuato, Mexico These are two felids: Lynx rufus and Puma concolor, as well as the western speckled skunk Spilogale gracilis, the peccari Dicotyles crassus, and the coati Nasua narica The presence of these records reflects the importance of the Sierra Gorda de Guanajuato Biosphere Reserve as one of the main protected natural areas of Guanajuato, Mexico, since this area constitutes a natural bridge between species of neartic and neotropical affinity This type of study reaffirms the need to continue conducting regional and local biological inventories in MexicoKey words: Range extension, camera-traps, Victoria, Guanajuato, biological corridorPalabras clave: Distribucion, camaras trampa, Victoria, Guanajuato, corredores biologicos

Abstract: C.2013.A new record of Geophis latifrontalis (Squamata: Colubridae) for the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. Acta Zoologica Mexicana (n. s.), 29 (3): 684-687. ABSTRACT. We present a new record of Geophis latifrontalis for the Mexican state of Guanajuato. This specimen was collected in the municipality of Xichu, Guanajuato. Previews records of this species were reported from Moctezuma, San Luis Potosi and Pinal de Amoles, Queretaro, so this specimen ex- tends the know distribution of this species into the western slope of the Sierra Madre Oriental.

TL;DR: This record in the rbsgg confirms the existence of a tropical to subtropical faunal component associated with the rivers of Manzanares and Santa Maria, which is present in the transition area of the Mexican Plateau and the Sierra Madre Oriental located within the reserve.
Abstract: For the first time, we registered the Gray-headed Dove ( Leptotila plumbeiceps ) in the Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve of Guanajuato (rbsgg), Guanajuato state. Between September and October of 2016 we photographed specimens on the upper basin of the Manzanares river, in the municipality of Victoria, Guanajuato. This record in the rbsgg confirms the existence of a tropical to subtropical faunal component associated with the rivers of Manzanares and Santa Maria, which is present in the transition area of the Mexican Plateau and the Sierra Madre Oriental located within the reserve.
