The invention discloses a self-elevating tripod system for seabed boundary layer observation. The system comprises a land part and an underwater part, wherein the land part comprises an acoustic response release deck unit and a radio receiver; the underwater part comprises ballast anchors, a seat bottom platform, acoustic response releasers, an ocean observing instrument, a recycling positioning device and a tripod; the seat bottom platform comprises a structural frame, solid buoyancy materials and glass floating balls; the ocean observing instrument comprises an ADCP (Acoustic Doppler CurrentProfiler), an underwater camera, a transmissometer and an ADV (Acoustic Doppler Velocimetry); and the recycling positioning device comprises a flashlight and a radio beaconing machine.
