Abstract Recently cryptography is one of the essence areas of study. There are two types of cryptography, this paper is concerned with the simplest and fastest which is “Symmetric Key Cryptography”. Symmetric encryption text information is widely known as an effective and secure method for the purpose of secure transmission. In this paper, we present a new symmetric encryption scheme for text encryption and decryption based on Karhunen Loeve transform, where Karhunen Loeve transform is a reversible linear transform. The time complexity of the proposed scheme is calculated for both encryption and decryption. The proposed scheme has an has efficiency according to the security measures.

Steganography is the science that can hide messages inside images, videos or sounds where the hiding process is known by the sender and the receiver of the message. In this paper we present the Message Processing-based Steganographic Algorithm (MPSA), a new technique to conceal the secret message in a pseudo-random way inside of the cover object using the Karhunen-Loeve transform. The paper describes the algorithm and presents an analysis of the results obtained from experimental tests.

In the National Basketball Association (NBA), understanding how age impacts player performance is crucial for team general managers and coaches, allowing them to construct the most competitive rosters. This research paper aims to investigate the relationship between the player’s performances and their age by clustering the players into six groups based on their ages and comparing their performance indicators. For each group, multiple widely known indicators as the Individual Player Efficiency (EFF) and Player Efficiency Rating (PER), were used. Experimental results show the age at which players commonly reach peak performance levels. Using these results, general managers have a cutting edge when searching for new players to enhance their team performance.

The impact of age on NBA player’s performances: A Data Mining approach

Steganography is the art and science of hiding secret messages without being discovered by a potential attacker. In this paper we propose an application that uses a Message Processing-based Steganographic Algorithm and an Artificial Intelligence algorithm to colorize the recovered message using Convolutional Neural Networks. This solution gives the opportunity to hide a higher quantity of message data in the cover image. The structure of the application and an analysis of test results are presented in this paper.
