TL;DR: In this paper, the existence and multiplicity of weak solutions for a class of the double phase problem − div ( | ∇ u | p − 2 ∆ ∆ u + a (x, u)) = λ f ( x, u ), in Ω, u = 0, on ∂ Ω, where N ≥ 2 and 1 p q N.
Abstract: In the present paper, in view of the variational approach, we consider the existence and multiplicity of weak solutions for a class of the double phase problem − div ( | ∇ u | p − 2 ∇ u + a ( x ) | ∇ u | q − 2 ∇ u ) = λ f ( x , u ) , in Ω , u = 0 , on ∂ Ω , where N ≥ 2 and 1 p q N . Firstly, by the Fountain and Dual Theorem with Cerami condition, we obtain some existence of infinitely many solutions for the above problem under some weaker assumptions on f . Secondly, we prove that this problem has at least one nontrivial solution for any parameter λ > 0 small enough, and also that the solution blows up, in the Sobolev norm, as λ → 0 + . Finally, by imposing additional assumptions on f , we establish the existence of infinitely many solutions by using Krasnoselskii’s genus theory for the above equation.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered the nonlinear eigenvalue problem and proved the existence of a continuous family of eigenvalues, based on the mountain pass lemma and Ekeland's variational principle.
Abstract: In this article, we consider the nonlinear eigenvalue problem: $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}\Delta(|\Delta u|^{p(x)-2} \Delta u)=\lambda V(x)|u|^{q(x)-2}u,\quad{\rm in} \,\,\Omega\\ u=\Delta u=0, \qquad\qquad\qquad\quad\,\quad\,{\rm on}\,\,\partial \Omega,\end{array} \right.$$ where $${\Omega}$$ is a bounded domain of $${\mathbb{R}^N}$$ with smooth boundary, $${\lambda}$$ is a positive real number, $${p,\, q: \overline{\Omega} \rightarrow (1,+\infty)}$$ are continuous functions, and V is an indefinite weight function. Considering different situations concerning the growth rates involved in the above quoted problem, we prove the existence of a continuous family of eigenvalues. The proofs of the main results are based on the mountain pass lemma and Ekeland’s variational principle.

TL;DR: In this paper, the existence of at least one weak solution for a class of elliptic Navier boundary value problems involving the p(x)-biharmonic operator is studied.
Abstract: We study the existence of at least one weak solution for a class of elliptic Navier boundary value problems involving the p(x)-biharmonic operator. Our technical approach is based on variational methods. In addition, an example to illustrate our results is given.

TL;DR: In this paper, a time-independent fractional Schrodinger equation ( − Δ ) α u + V ( x ) u = f ( x, u ) in R N, where α stands for the fractional Laplacian of order α ∈ ( 0, 1 ), f is either asymptotically linear or superquadratic growth.
Abstract: In this paper we are devoted to a time-independent fractional Schrodinger equation ( − Δ ) α u + V ( x ) u = f ( x , u ) in R N , where ( − Δ ) α stands for the fractional Laplacian of order α ∈ ( 0 , 1 ) , f is either asymptotically linear or superquadratic growth. Under appropriate assumptions on V and f , we prove the existence of infinitely many nontrivial high or small energy solutions, which extend and complement previously known results in the literature.

TL;DR: Simulation results demonstrated that the proposed CVNN-based SEI method is superior to the existing DL-based methods in both identification performance and convergence speed, and the identification accuracy of CVNN can reach up to nearly 100% at high signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs).
Abstract: Specific emitter identification (SEI) is a promising technology to discriminate the individual emitter and enhance the security of various wireless communication systems. SEI is generally based on radio frequency fingerprinting (RFF) originated from the imperfection of emitter’s hardware, which is difficult to forge. SEI is generally modeled as a classification task and deep learning (DL), which exhibits powerful classification capability, has been introduced into SEI for better identification performance. In the recent years, a novel DL model, named as complex-valued neural network (CVNN), has been applied into SEI methods for directly processing complex baseband signal and improving identification performance, but it also brings high model complexity and large model size, which is not conducive to the deployment of SEI, especially in Internet-of-things (IoT) scenarios. Thus, we propose an efficient SEI method based on CVNN and network compression, and the former is for performance improvement, while the latter is to reduce model complexity and size with ensuring satisfactory identification performance. Simulation results demonstrated that our proposed CVNN-based SEI method is superior to the existing DL-based methods in both identification performance and convergence speed, and the identification accuracy of CVNN can reach up to nearly 100% at high signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs). In addition, SlimCVNN just has 10% $\sim 30$ % model sizes of the basic CVNN, and its computing complexity has different degrees of decline at different SNRs; there is almost no performance gap between SlimCVNN and CVNN. These results demonstrated the feasibility and potential of CVNN and model compression.
