TL;DR: The extent to which various models for change management are used is strongly influenced by the degree to which managers are familiar with them, and is co-dependent on the life cycle of each respective company.
Abstract: The aim of this article is to ascertain the extent to which the contemporary approaches and models such as the ISO Standard 9001, the EFQM Model of Excellence, 20 Keys, BSC, Six Sigma and BPR are used in organisational systems for the continuous improvement of business success. Quantitative research was carried out in order to ascertain how widespread the use of these approaches is in the Republic of Slovenia. Our conclusion is that the extent to which various models for change management are used is strongly influenced by the degree to which managers are familiar with them, and is co-dependent on the life cycle of each respective company.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the importance of a project performance's education, training and motivation and project organization structure in non-profit organizations and establish its influence on a successful project realization.
Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the importance of a project performance’s education, training and motivation and project organization structure in non-profit organizations and to establish its influence on a successful project realization. For this purpose we designed a questionnaire. The sample includes 180 respondents working in all Slovene institutes of public health at the secondary level. The descriptive statistic and regression model was used to test research aims. The results show that the independent variables in the regression model explained 75.2% of the dependent variable variation indicating a successful project realization. The levels of education and training and motivating of project performers statistically significant influence the success of project realization. Project organization structure and organizational climate do not influence a successful project implementation in institutes of public health at the secondary level. The identified characteristics of a supportive environment and their influence on a successful project realization in institutes of public health generate theoretical and practical results. The outcomes of the research will be useful for the designers of work process innovations in terms of a supportive environment for project management. Key words: Management, project management, public health, research, regression analysis. .

TL;DR: In this paper, the impact and purpose of reporting on socially responsible conduct on the success of corporate operations was studied. But the authors focused on the impact of the reporting on social responsible conduct in the field of market services in the Republic of Slovenia.
Abstract: The aim of our research was to study the impact and purpose of the reporting on socially responsible conduct on the success of corporate operations. The data and information were gathered with the quantitative research method, whereas the instrument for gathering them was a questionnaire that was distributed among 759 large and medium sized organisations from the field of market services in the Republic of Slovenia. We have established that activities aimed at socially responsible conduct are directly connected with the success of corporate operations, especially the revenue (p = 0.001), the profit of a company (p = 0.000), operational growth (p = 0.007) and operational economy (p = 0.002), and are typical for organizations with a larger number of employees (p = 0.032). In this regard, the real estate and construction market activities received the lowest scores. Research results provide theoretical as well as practical benefits for everyone dealing with the planning, implementation and control of sustainable development, as well as socially responsible conduct within the organization.

TL;DR: In this article, a study was conducted to determine whether a statistically significant impact exists between management sophistication and certain factors, such as, for example, company size, business activity, ownership, etc., and between selected economic indicators.
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine whether a statistically significant impact exists between management sophistication and certain factors, such as, for example, company size, business activity, ownership, etc., and between selected economic indicators. The study was conducted with the aid of quantitative research methods on a dedicated sample of 98 Slovenian companies. A questionnaire to assess the management of corporate policy was used for the acquisition of data. We found that the majority of the individual components of management sophistication in managing a company's corporate policy had a statistically significant impact in terms of the company's size, profit and added value per employee. A higher level of management sophistication in managing corporate policy depending on the type of capital was found in companies that have either foreign or mixed capital. The results of the study will be useful for both theorists and practitioners in the field of organisational policy as well as for those engaged in strategic management in companies and other organisations.

TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between supervisor's budgetary style, supervisor's trust in subordinate and their effects on the subunit's performance of two newly privatised Malaysian utility companies was examined.
Abstract: This study examines the relationship between supervisor's budgetary style, supervisor's trust in subordinate and their effects on the subunit's performance of two newly privatised Malaysian utility companies. A framework linking uncertainty and organisational growth to subunit's performance is tested using structural equation modelling. In addition, the study examines the mediating role of trust in the relation between supervisor's budgetary style as a control system and subordinate's autonomy, which in turn could affect subunit's performance. Results confirm the hypothesised relationships. These findings contribute to understanding the role that trust plays in institutionalising a participative budgeting process during organisational change.
