Charged-particle multiplicities in pp interactions at sqrt(s) = 900 GeV measured with the ATLAS detector at the LHC

Georges Aad, +3211 more
- 26 Apr 2010 -
TL;DR: The first measurements from proton-proton collisions recorded with the ATLAS detector at the LHC are presented in this paper, where the charged-particle multiplicity, its dependence on transverse momentum and pseudorapidity, and the relationship between mean transversal momentum and charge multiplicity are measured for events with at least one charged particle in the kinematic range.
Journal ArticleDOI

Combination of Tevatron searches for the standard model Higgs boson in the W+W- decay mode

T. Aaltonen, +1108 more
TL;DR: These results exclude a standard model Higgs boson in the mass range 162-166 GeV at the 95% C.L.V. level, and resulting limits on Higgs Boson production are excluded.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for direct top-squark pair production in final states with two leptons in pp collisions at √s = 8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2922 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for direct top-squark pair production in final states with two leptons (electrons or muons) of opposite charge using 203 fb−1 of pp collision data at √s = 8 TeV, collected by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider in 2012, was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for a CP-odd Higgs boson decaying to Zh in pp collisions at √s=8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2813 more
- 16 Feb 2015 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for a heavy, CP-odd Higgs boson decaying into a Z boson and a 125 GeV h, with the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for high-mass diphoton resonances in pp collisions at √s = 8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2822 more
- 21 Apr 2015 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors search for high-mass diphoton resonances in pp collisions at pffisffi root s=8 TeV with the ATLAS detector.
