Rab27a and Rab27b control different steps of the exosome secretion pathway
Matias Ostrowski,Nuno Carmo,Sophie Krumeich,Sophie Krumeich,Isabelle Fanget,Graça Raposo,Graça Raposo,Ariel Savina,Ariel Savina,Catarina Moita,Kristine Schauer,Kristine Schauer,Alistair N. Hume,Rui P. Freitas,Bruno Goud,Bruno Goud,Philippe Benaroch,Philippe Benaroch,Nir Hacohen,Nir Hacohen,Mitsunori Fukuda,Claire Desnos,Miguel C. Seabra,Miguel C. Seabra,Miguel C. Seabra,François Darchen,Sebastian Amigorena,Sebastian Amigorena,Luis F. Moita,Clotilde Théry,Clotilde Théry +30 more
TL;DR: The results therefore strengthen the link between MVEs and exosomes, and introduce ways of manipulating exosome secretion in vivo.
Journal ArticleDOI
Protein interaction mapping: A Drosophila case study
Etienne Formstecher,Sandra Aresta,Vincent Collura,Alexandre Hamburger,Alain Meil,Alexandra Trehin,Céline Reverdy,Virginie Betin,Sophie Maire,Christine Brun,Bernard Jacq,Monique Arpin,Yohanns Bellaïche,Saverio Bellusci,Philippe Benaroch,Michel Bornens,Roland Chanet,Philippe Chavrier,Olivier Delattre,Valérie Doye,Richard G. Fehon,Richard G. Fehon,Gérard Faye,Thierry Galli,Jean-Antoine Girault,Bruno Goud,Jean de Gunzburg,Ludger Johannes,Marie-Pierre Junier,Vincent Mirouse,Ashim Mukherjee,Dora Papadopoulo,Franck Perez,Anne Plessis,Carine Rossé,Simon Saule,Dominique Stoppa-Lyonnet,Alain Vincent,Michael A. White,Pierre Legrain,Jérôme Wojcik,Jacques Camonis,Jacques Camonis,Laurent Daviet +43 more
TL;DR: This work used a high-throughput yeast two-hybrid (Y2H)-based technology to screen 102 bait proteins from Drosophila melanogaster, most of them orthologous to human cancer-related and/or signaling proteins, against high-complexity fly cDNA libraries.
Journal ArticleDOI
Early/recycling endosomes-to-TGN transport involves two SNARE complexes and a Rab6 isoform
Frédéric Mallard,Bor Luen Tang,Thierry Galli,Danièle Tenza,Agnès Saint-Pol,Xu Yue,Claude Antony,Wanjin Hong,Bruno Goud,Ludger Johannes +9 more
TL;DR: This study shows that membrane exchange between the early endocytic and the biosynthetic/secretory pathways involves specific components of the Rab and SNARE machinery, and suggests that retrograde transport between early/recycling endosomes and the endoplasmic reticulum is critically dependent on the sequential action of two members of therab6 subfamily.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interaction of a Golgi-Associated Kinesin-Like Protein with Rab6
Arnaud Echard,Florence Jollivet,Olivier Martinez,Jean-Jacques Lacapère,Annie Rousselet,Isabelle Janoueix-Lerosey,Bruno Goud +6 more
TL;DR: A molecular motor is a potential effector of a Rab protein, and coordinated action between members of these two families of proteins could control membrane dynamics and directional vesicular traffic.
Journal ArticleDOI
The role of ARF and Rab GTPases in membrane transport.
Philippe Chavrier,Bruno Goud +1 more
TL;DR: Two key events of intracellular transport and membrane trafficking in eukaryotic cells, the formation of transport vesicles and their specific delivery to target membranes, are controlled by small GTPases of the ADP-ribosylation factor (ARF) and Rab families, respectively.
