Abstract: The aims of the present study are to understand indicators and the scope of theoretical models adopted to describe athletes’ resilience, as well as to analyze their impact on investigations about such resilience. A search for original academic publications within a 10-year period was conducted in the PubMed / Medline, Web of Science, Taylor and Francis, Lilacs, Scopus, Humam Kinects and Science Direct databases, to substantiate a systematic literature review on athletes’ resilience. Articles were analyzed based on their methodological characteristics and citation network analysis. In total, 47 articles were identified and the most referenced one was Fletcher and Sarkar (2012), which was followed by Galli and Vealey (2008). The Grounded Theory of Psychological Resilience and Optimal Sport Performance by Fletcher and Sarkar (2012) seems to encompass the basic theoretical elementary aspects to better understand athletes’ resilience, so far. To conclude resilience is an on-going dynamic process based on individual characteristics and interactions with the environment.

Abstract: Objetivo: verificar os efeitos da atividade física nos estados de humor no ambiente de trabalho. Método: Foram avaliados 56 Jovens Aprendizes de uma empresa sendo 42 do sexo masculino e 14 do sexo feminino. O instrumento utilizado para coleta dos dados referentes à avaliação do estado de humor foi o questionário BRAMS, que contém 24 itens organizados em seis dimensões: tensão, depressão, raiva, vigor, fadiga e confusão. Cada item é avaliado em uma escala de cinco pontos (0 = nada a 4 = extremamente), sendo o somatório de cada dimensão (escore bruto) interpretado através de uma tabela percentil. Resultados: Os valores médios das variáveis emocionais nas diferentes situações avaliadas revelam que as dimensões negativas (tensão, depressão, raiva e confusão) apresentaram diminuição nos dias com prática de musculação, apenas para a dimensão negativa “fadiga” não houve diminuição; a dimensão positiva “vigor” permaneceu inalterada. Conclusão: A partir dos resultados encontrados nesse estudo, é possível concluir que uma sessão de musculação, modifica de forma positiva o estado de humor dos sujeitos.

Abstract: The aims of the current study were: (a) to construct a reference table for burnout in soccer athletes of the U-20 category and (b) to verify the individual oscillations in the perception of these athletes in relation to burnout over three periods of the sports season. In total, 53 U-20 soccer athletes participated. The Athlete Burnout Questionnaire, Brazilian version, was applied to athletes during training, competition, and vacation periods of the sports season. A reference table was built for under-20 soccer athletes for each assessment period. Fluctuations were observed in the mean values of the total burnout frequency of the athletes during the 3 periods: training (X¯=1.35 ± 0.13 andX¯=2.11 ± 0.19), competition (X¯=1.26 ± 0.13 and X¯=2.27 ± 0.24), and vacation (X¯=1.27 ± 0.14 and X¯= 2.18 ± 0.28). Based on this table and the individual classification of each athlete, it was observed that 32 athletes presented fluctuations in the perception of burnout during the sports season and 21 athletes did not present fluctuations in feelings of burnout during the three evaluation periods. The period with the highest number of athletes (n = 17) with a high level of burnout was the training period. It is concluded that it is not possible to establish a single and collective behavior regarding the fluctuations in burnout levels in athletes of the U-20 category during a sports season, and that the category reference table contributes to greater accuracy of the burnout evaluation in each period in the season.

Abstract: O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a percepcao de autoeficacia em professores do Ensino Superior e avaliar as propriedades psicometricas da Escala de Autoeficacia para Professores do Ensino Superior para o contexto brasileiro. Participaram deste estudo 188 professores do Ensino Superior de instituicoes da rede privada de Minas Gerais. Os professores lecionavam nas areas da Educacao Fisica, Nutricao, Ciencias Biologicas, Geografia, Fisioterapia, Medicina, Analise de Sistemas, Enfermagem, Turismo e Pedagogia. A amostra foi composta por 61,5% de professores do sexo masculino. Em relacao a formacao, foi predominante a participacao de professores com especializacao Lato Sensu (52,9%). Todos os professores responderam a Escala de Autoeficacia para Docentes do Ensino Superior-EADES. Os resultados mostraram que a escala esta adequada para a avaliacao da autoeficacia em professores (α=0,92). Em relacao ao quanto os professores se sentem capazes de realizar suas tarefas docentes, foram verificados valores medios entre 5,01 e 5,65, o que representa um alto valor de percepcao de autoeficacia pelos professores. Conclui-se que os principais fatores responsaveis pela autoeficacia dos professores sao a Satisfacao, a Persuasao Social e as Experiencias Pregressas. Estes aspectos fornecem uma importante sugestao sobre as possibilidades de exploracao destes fatores no que diz respeito as futuras aquisicoes, programas de formacao e pesquisas futuras. AbstractThe aim of this study was to evaluate the perception of self-efficacy in higher education teachers and to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Self-efficacy Scale for higher education teachers in the Brazilian context. A total of 188 higher education teachers from institutions of the private network of Minas Gerais participated in this study. Teachers taught in the areas of Physical Education, Nutrition, Biological Sciences, Geography, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Systems Analysis, Nursing, Tourism and Pedagogy. The sample consisted of 61.5% male teachers. All teachers answered the Self-Efficacy Scale for Teachers of Higher Education-EADES. Lato Sensu teachers (52.9%), followed by master teachers (34.8%), doctors (9.6%) and graduates (2.7%) predominated. The results showed that the scale is adequate for the evaluation of self-efficacy in teachers (α=0.92). In relation to how much teachers feel capable of performing their teaching tasks, mean values between 5.01 and 5.65 were verified, which represents a high value of self-efficacy perception among teachers. It is concluded that the main factors responsible for teachers' self-efficacy are satisfaction, social persuasion and previous experiences. These aspects provide an important suggestion about the possibilities of exploring these factors with regard to future acquisitions, training programs and future research. Keywords: Validation. Abstract: O estilo de vida saudavel esta associado a habitos como alimentacao, cuidados medicos preventivos, atividade fisica regular entre outros cuidados, e parece estar relacionado a maior qualidade de vida geral, bem-estar fisico e mental. Considerando que o burnout e uma sindrome advinda do esgotamento mental e exaustao emocional, o objetivo deste estudo foi verificar o efeito do estilo de vida sobre o burnout em professores de escolas publicas estaduais de Minas Gerais. Participaram 150 professores vinculados a rede estadual no ensino fundamental e medio, de ambos os sexos, com idade 37,42 (±10,31) anos. Para avaliar o burnout foi utilizado o MBI forma-ED e o estilo de vida foi avaliado pela escala de PEVI. Os dados sao apresentados por media e desvio padrao e foram adotados os testes estatisticos Shapiro-Wilk, correlacao linear de Spearman, modelo de regressao linear e o teste de Durbin-Watson (0 ≤ dw ≤ 4). As analises estatisticas foram tratadas no software SPSS 20.0. Os resultados mostraram uma correlacao negativa entre as variaveis burnout e estilo de vida. Conclui-se que o burnout e uma sindrome cada vez mais frequente no ambiente escolar e o estilo de vida saudavel pode atuar como uma variavel de prevencao e controle da sindrome em professores.

Abstract: What experiences are needed to become a high-performance coach? The present study addressed this question through structured retrospective quantitative interviews with 10 team- and 9 individual-sport coaches at the Canadian interuniversity-sport level. Minimum amounts of certain experiences were deemed necessary but not sufficient to become a high-performance coach (e.g., playing the sport they now coach and interaction with a mentor coach for all coaches, leadership opportunities as athletes for team-sport coaches only). Although coaches reported varying amounts of these necessary experiences, general stages of high-performance coach development were traced. Findings serve to identify and support potential high-performance coaches and increase the effectiveness of formal coaching-education programs.

Abstract: Nos dias de hoje, a busca do exercicio fisico vem crescendo cada vez mais, o praticante tem como objetivo um corpo mais saudavel, melhor condicionado, com boa aparencia e livre de doencas, sem se preocupar com possiveis lesoes que pode ser geradas devido a pressa de ter um corpo perfeito. A lesao gerada na pratica de musculacao e devido a negligencia por parte dos praticantes, falta de um acompanhamento adequado e falta de prevencao de lesoes dentro das academias. Esse estudo tem como proposito relatar sobre as lesoes ocasionadas na pratica da musculacao, alertando os praticantes sobre tais negligencias que podem gerar lesoes. Os artigos a serem usados nesse trabalho foram disponiveis nas plataformas de dados online: SCIELO, Google academico e PUBMED nos idiomas portugues e ingles, escolhido de acordo o ano de publicacao – 2010 a 2020. Foram selecionados 25 artigos que se encaixaram nos criterios de inclusao e exclusao desse trabalho. Conclui-se que o acompanhamento adequado de profissionais de educacao fisicas e fisioterapeutas sao de fundamental importância para prevencao de lesoes. Palavras-chave : musculacao; academia; lesao.

Abstract: Introduction: The inclusion of new methodologies and assessments in the medical education area has indicated the need to understand teachers’ perception of their own ability to use them adequately. Objective: Thus, the present study aimed to investigate possible associations between teacher self-efficacy and the use of OSCE. Method: The Teacher Self-efficacy Scale and Self-Efficacy Sources Scale and a characterization questionnaire were used. Forty-seven medical teachers from a private university, of both genders, aged between 31 and 78 years, participated in the study. Results: The results indicated that the factors Social Persuasion and Vicarious Learning were the most endorsed, suggesting that these sources are the ones that interfere the most in the formation of the participants’ beliefs. There was only one positive and statistically significant correlation, with a weak magnitude, established between the Intentionality of Action Efficacy and Vicarious Learning. The other identified correlations were statistically negative and of moderate magnitude. Conclusions: The teachers who agreed with some important characteristics about the OSCE method also showed higher levels of self-efficacy. Therefore, professionals with greater perseverance, resilience and confidence, have also been more committed to teaching, research and student assistance.

Abstract: Una de las transiciones que ha recibido menos atencion en la literatura cientifica es la transicion de junior al deporte profesional, en concreto al futbol de elite. Basados en el modelo de desarrollo deportivo de Wylleman y Lavallee (2004), el objetivo de este estudio es explorar de forma retrospectiva los desafios que tuvieron que afrontar futbolistas junior al realizar la transicion a la elite del futbol. Ademas, se analizan las especificidades de los desafios en funcion del genero al realizar dicha transicion. Se entrevistaron 8 chicos y 8 chicas sobre sus experiencias en la transicion a la elite del futbol. Los resultados se distribuyen en dos apartados principales: desafios asociados al futbol dentro del campo y desafios asociados al futbol fuera del campo (e.g., estructura, concepcion social). El analisis de contenido muestra que los desafios a los que tienen que hacer frente los futbolistas dentro del campo se asocian a los niveles deportivo y psicologico. Los desafios fuera del campo ademas de asociarse con estos dos niveles, se asocian tambien a los niveles psicosocial y academico/laboral. Las diferencias respecto a los desafios que se encuentran chicos y chicas se asocian unicamente a la categoria futbol fuera del campo. Se discute la relevancia de afrontar con exito estos desafios y su importancia para una correcta adaptacion a la elite del futbol.
