Journal ArticleDOI

Endometrial preparation for women undergoing embryo transfer with frozen embryos or embryos derived from donor oocytes.

TL;DR: There is insufficient evidence to recommend any one particular protocol for endometrial preparation over another with regard to pregnancy rates after embryo transfers, and there is evidence of a lower pregnancy rate and a higher cycle cancellation rate when the progesterone supplementation is commenced prior to oocyte retrieval in oocyte donation cycles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Oral contraceptives suppress cell proliferation and enhance apoptosis of eutopic endometrial tissue from patients with endometriosis.

TL;DR: COCs showed a positive effect on patients with endometriosis by down-regulating cell proliferation and enhancing apoptosis in the eutopic endometrium.
Journal ArticleDOI

Laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy of endometriomas does not affect the ovarian response to gonadotropin stimulation.

TL;DR: The results indicate that laparoscopic cystectomy for endometriomas is an appropriate treatment since it did not negatively affect the ovarian response for IVF-ET.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of GnRH analogues on apoptosis and release of interleukin‐1β and vascular endothelial growth factor in endometrial cell cultures from patients with endometriosis

TL;DR: GnRH agonists appear to have a direct effect in endometrial cells cultures, by enhancing the percentage of apoptotic cells and decreasing the release of pro-mitogenic cytokines such as IL-1beta and VEGF.
