Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: In this paper, a phenomenological model is used for nonlinear black box identification, where a model is replacing a precise mathematical description, and simulations are provided for two examples: the classic ball and beam system and a large scale linear system.

TL;DR: In this article, a control strategy without any precise mathematical model is derived for linear or nonlinear systems which are assumed to be finite-dimensional, and two convincing numerical simulations are provided.

TL;DR: In this paper, a classical model-based controller for active queue management (AQM) routers supporting dynamic model of Transmission Control protocol (TCP) flows is developed using this model, an AQM control system using RED controller is designed.

TL;DR: In this article, a global active methodology is defined in order to synthesize an additive optimal control input from fault detection and isolation results, and a robust residual is firstly generated by means of usual parity relations to detect and isolate faults on the system, then a fault accommodation procedure, based model following control scheme, is used to generate an additive control input according to the residual characteristics.
