TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present research on the transcendental future in the life of old people, focusing on the frequency with which old people think about death, the belief in ''life after death, ''transcendental aims old people set themselves and the generalised attitudes concerning the future''.
Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present research on transcendental future in the life of old peo- ple. This temporal period embraces the time from physical death to eternity. The research focused on the frequency with which old people think about death, the belief in „life” after death, the transcendental aims old people set themselves and the generalised attitudes concerning the future. 350 people participated in the research, including 119 men and 232 women in three age sub-groups of 60-, 70- and 80-year-olds. The research was based on a survey for measuring the future time perspective and the scale of attitudes towards the future, both in an experimental version. The results showed that the older people are, the more often they think about death. Half of the respondents in late old age revealed transcendental aims, such as meeting their loved ones or obtaining salvation. At this stage in life the attitude towards one’s own future changes from realistic to transcendental.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors determine the relationship between self-assessment of physical fitness and health, and the motivational role of physical activity goals in people, depending on their sports discipline.
Abstract: The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between self-assessment of physical fitness and health, and the motivational role of physical activity goals in people, depending on their sports discipline. The study included 470 men and 218 women, aged 18–45, from western and southern Poland. The respondents practiced sports recreationally (fitness—F), competitively (football—FB, martial arts—MA), and for rehabilitation and sports purposes (wheelchair rugby—R). The standardized questionnaire for the motivational role of physical activity goals (Inventory of Physical Activity Objectives, IPAO) by Lipowski and Zaleski and the authors’ questionnaire on lifestyle were used. In the statistical analyses, non-parametric statistics were used. Individuals with very high and high self-assessment of their physical fitness and very good self-assessment of health achieved higher scores on the motivational value scale, time management, motivational conflict and multidimensionality of physical activity goals (p < 0.05). Respondents who assessed their health as very good achieved lower results on the perseverance scale, compared to those who assessed their health as good or poor. Self-assessment of physical fitness had a positive, high and moderate correlation with the self-assessment of health in people practicing wheelchair rugby, fitness, football and martial arts (r = 0.61; r = 0.52; r = 0.41; r = 0.40, respectively). Correlations were found between the motivational role and time management in people practicing fitness (r = 0.81), football (r = 0.66) and martial arts (r = 0.45), and multidimensionality of goals in those practicing fitness (r = 0.65) and martial arts (r = 0.42) Wheelchair rugby players scored the highest on all KCAF scales (except for motivational conflict). Self-assessment of physical fitness of wheelchair rugby players and fitness practitioners was negatively correlated with time management (r = −0.68; r = −0.49), multidimensionality of goals (r = −0.51; r = −0.49) and motivational values (r = −0.43; r = −0.43). The demonstrated relationships indicated that there was a need to strengthen the self-esteem and motivation for physical activity, promoting perseverance, the ability to focus on the implementation of one’s goals and prioritizing the goals among people practicing various sports disciplines.

TL;DR: The study provides scientific evidence for the physical education teacher on the dynamics of the game of Marro and indicates the strategic chains of playful coexistence among equals through a multimodal range of variables and approaches has revealed an unusual dynamic picture.
Abstract: Different international organizations and initiatives highlight the contribution of the traditional sporting games (TSGs) to favor the diversity of knowledge, values, and attitudes necessary for today's society TSG such as Marro trigger multimodal learning contexts (driving conducts, interpersonal and organic relationships), with great interest in the educational and sports initiation field The purpose of two studies presented in this manuscript was to examine the 360° multimodal strategic intervention (decisional, relational, and organic) of two teams faced in a Marro game For this study, a quasi-experimental design was used composed by a single test applied to two non-equivalent teams Mixed methods were used with an observational methodology in Quadrant III: nomothetic, punctual, and multidimensional Fourteen university students participated [mean (M) = 2049, standard deviation (SD) = 218] Three internal logic variables were studied: outcome, role, and subrole; and three variables referred to the dimensions of motor conduct: relationship, risk in the decision, and physical effort A mixed ad hoc registration system was designed with acceptable margins of data quality For Study 1, cross-tabulations and classification trees were applied, while for Study 2 strategic T-patterns were identified The relevance of the scoreboard (p < 0001; Effect Size = 0386) and the realization of the role (p < 0001; ES = 0091) for the study of multimodal strategic chains in the Marro game were confirmed The detection of regularities in specific interaction (Hunters against Hares) by Theme (p < 0005) allowed for interpretation of the process of strategic conducts of both teams during the game Knowing the strategic chains of playful coexistence among equals through a multimodal range of variables and approaches has revealed an unusual dynamic picture The study provides scientific evidence for the physical education teacher on the dynamics of the game of Marro The pedagogical application of these contributions must be made according to curricular interests
