TL;DR: Activity theory presents a broad and conceptual framework of analysis for HCI (Human Computer Interaction), and provides a common language in comprehending the delivery of meaning from an interactive art work, in the cultural and societal sense.
Abstract: Activity theory presents a broad and conceptual framework of analysis for HCI (Human Computer Interaction). As media art matures and becomes accepted as an art form, a theoretical and conceptual framework for its analysis and evaluation is needed. Activity theory studies the level of connection between the individual, community and society in a broad sense, and the connection's process of development is studied through different human practices as a philosophical base. As a branch of structuralism, activity theory analyzes the connotations of meaning in human activity and not the activity itself. Activity theory comes to researchers of interactivity, intuitively. The reason for this is that activity theory provides a common language in comprehending the delivery of meaning from an interactive art work, in the cultural and societal sense. In order to understand the activity of the participant of the artwork through activity theory is to clarify the purpose of the activity involved, pinpoint the elements of influences in the activity systems; the artist/designer can thoroughly plan the interactive art elements, and ultimately comprehend the apprehension of the participants. The pragmatics of the system transcend its uses into artist meaning and message through the participant own history of cultural and societal experiences.

TL;DR: In this paper, an increase in sense of immersion was found depending on contents of movement of interactive artwork using projector and sensor by defining visual elements and analyzing components that can influence immersion and amusement when the audience handles contents in work.
Abstract: We get lots of information in our daily life and identify and perceive things naturally through relationship between them. We receive information from environment through several sensory systems because we recognize the object in a various way depending on psychological factors or physical state. The purpose of this paper is to find out an increase in sense of immersion depending on contents of movement of interactive artwork using projector and sensor by defining visual elements and analyzing components that can influence immersion and amusement when the audience handles contents in work.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a possibility of visual expression by analysis of Gestalt psychology, which is applied a lot in the field of design is used as effective means that can deliver suggestive meaning with small amount of material.
Abstract: Kinetic art is losing its influence by a limit of physical movement. Gestalt psychology which is applied a lot in the field of design is used as effective means that can deliver suggestive meaning with small amount of material. This study analyzes with six principles of continuity, contiguity, similarity, simplicity, closure, separation out of principles of Gestalt psychology. Works that used basic elements such as movement, color and figure only were selected. This study draws a reason which can create artistic and colorful visual effect overcoming a limit through analysis. This study is to present a possibility of visual expression by analysis of Gestalt psychology.

TL;DR: In this paper, Wang et al. studied the art analysis of digital painting media based on wireless networks and proposed a long-term plan for the development of digital media media art, and the experimental results of this paper show that the proportions of the digital media art materials in practical technology, visual experience, and Chinese painting are 50, 61, and 73%, respectively, and their proportions are constantly increasing, occupying an important role in the field of Digital media art.
Abstract: Digital media art mainly studies the methods and techniques of using information technology for artistic processing and creation. Through theoretical study, professional skills training, etc., people can master the use of digital media software and have the ability to use digital technology to perform artistic processing on various types of works. This article is aimed at studying the art analysis of digital painting media based on wireless networks. In the past few years, as the country pays more and more attention to it, the level of science and technology in our country is constantly improving. At this stage, it has entered a new media environment using digital media. In the method part, this article proposes wireless network technology. It is believed that digital painting and traditional painting are very different in expression form and artistic concept. Digital painting transforms the static expression of traditional painting into digital form, so that they are no longer limited to the static expression of the plane. In the algorithm part, this article uses the algorithm of virtual technology to make a long-term plan for the development of digital painting media art. The experimental results of this paper show that the proportions of digital media art materials in practical technology, visual experience, and Chinese painting are 50%, 61%, and 73%, respectively, and their proportions are constantly increasing, occupying an important role in the field of digital media art.

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of colour psychology on the production of media façade to enhance its narrative ability is analyzed, and the common feature of colour composition is expressed in time conversion and seasonal changes.
Abstract: In this paper, we propose to interrelate the scene’s colour composition design of media façade with colour psychology, to intuitively reach a more expressive form, richer artistic value, and enhance its narrative ability. It can also solve the problem of visual fatigue caused by the excessive colour of the media façade. With the advent of media facade technology, is getting widely used in the field of media technology as a ubiquitous technique. Due to the influence of the external environment, the content is mainly displayed to the audience through various basic colour pattern transformations. However, the case of the narrative media facade is often endowed with certain artistic value and thus is more acceptable to the public. Therefore, how to use a single colour transformation to express the narrative way as delicate as a movie is a problem worth exploring. Aiming at this situation, this paper analyzes the influence of colour psychology on the production of media façade to enhance its narrative. Through the comparison of two cases with the same attribute at different times, the common feature of colour composition is expressed in time conversion and seasonal changes.

TL;DR: The key concern is to analyze the conventional design method, Activity Theory (AT) and consider the principles of HCI and bring in a conceptual extended AT model to develop the appearance of Human-computer interaction design.
Abstract: Human-computer interaction (HCI) design is the modern and advanced research area that is focused on human or user and system or device interactions. HCI is concerned with new and advanced approaches to a system that must be reliable and efficient to the user. HCI design required a longer and critical development process, methods or framework that passes through various evaluation phases. Due to an inadequacy of user-centered and value sensitive design for a system or device, numerous designs and artifacts do not draw attention to the user. On the other hand, user perception of advanced and new devices are not acceptable and perceived, if not reliable or facile to them. HCI comprises several methods, principles, and criteria which are followed during the development of interaction design. Even then, at times the evolved new and advanced interaction artifacts are unable to reach the user attraction. The HCI methodologies promote the researchers as well as designers to form and develop new and advanced innovations whereas, interaction design term plays a significant role in the design process. In this paper, the key concern is to analyze the conventional design method, Activity Theory (AT) and consider the principles of HCI and bring in a conceptual extended AT model to develop the appearance of Human-computer interaction design.
