Measuring the food environment using geographical information systems: a methodological review.
Hélène Charreire,Romain Casey,Paul Salze,Chantal Simon,Basile Chaix,Arnaud Banos,Dominique Badariotti,Christiane Weber,Jean-Michel Oppert +8 more
TL;DR: GIS methods provide new approaches for assessing the food environment by modelling spatial accessibility to food outlets and a combination of GIS methods with survey approaches to describe both spatial and social food outlet accessibility as important determinants of individual food behaviours.
Journal ArticleDOI
A systematic review of correlates of sedentary behaviour in adults aged 18–65 years: a socio-ecological approach
Grainne O'Donoghue,Camille Perchoux,Keitly Mensah,Jeroen Lakerveld,Hidde P. van der Ploeg,Claire M. Bernaards,Sebastien F. M. Chastin,Chantal Simon,Donal J. O’Gorman,Julie-Anne Nazare +9 more
TL;DR: Individual level factors such as age, physical activity levels, body mass index, socio-economic status and mood were all significantly correlated with sedentariness and a trend towards increased amounts of leisure screen time was identified in those married or cohabiting while having children resulted in less total sitting time.
Journal ArticleDOI
Using concept mapping in the development of the EU-PAD framework (EUropean-Physical Activity Determinants across the life course): a DEDIPAC-study

TL;DR: vWF and f-TFPI plasma levels were independent risk factors for hard CHD events.
Journal ArticleDOI
Circadian and ultradian variations of leptin in normal man under continuous enteral nutrition: relationship to sleep and body temperature.
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that under continuous enteral nutrition, plasma leptin levels are modulated by both a slight circadian component and sleep, which interact under normal conditions, and suggest that leptin is implicated in circadian thermoregulatory adjustments.
