TL;DR: In this paper, a testing method for damping after concrete materials are damaged is presented, which comprises the following steps of pouring concrete test pieces and carrying out standard curing for 28 days; vertically fixing the bottoms of the prepared concrete test piece in a test device, mounting protection box bodies on the concrete test bits, and applying axial load; and demounting the protection box body, applying excitation force to the upper ends of the concreteTest pieces, recording acceleration signals through utilization of acceleration sensors set on thecrete test pieces, and computing a damping ratio.
Abstract: The invention discloses a testing method for damping after concrete materials are damaged. The method comprises the following steps of pouring concrete test pieces and carrying out standard curing for28 days; vertically fixing the bottoms of the prepared concrete test pieces in a test device, mounting protection box bodies on the concrete test pieces, and applying axial load; and demounting the protection box bodies, applying excitation force to the upper ends of the concrete test pieces, recording acceleration signals through utilization of acceleration sensors set on the concrete test pieces, carrying out testing analysis on power performance of the concrete test pieces, and computing a damping ratio. According to the method, the load can be applied when the damping is tested, differentconcrete materials and damaged concrete material damping performance are tested, a test result is accurate and credible, the method can be used for comparing damping characteristics of the concrete materials in different service phases, and the method has remarkable engineering value and scientific value.

TL;DR: In this paper, the utility model relates to a device for mixing congeal geomaterials damping test, including the test box that is equipped with steerable temperature and humidity.
Abstract: The utility model relates to a device for mixing congeal geomaterials damping test, including the test box that is equipped with steerable temperature and humidity, be equipped with the test piece suspension beam who hangs the test to the test piece on the frame roof beam, the bottom of test box is equipped with the mounting fixture who carries out the test of vertical cantilever to the test piece, internal humidifier, heater and humidity transducer and the temperature sensor of being equipped with of test box, the internal wall of test box is equipped with the cooling pipe, the test box is internal still be equipped with height -adjustable be used for strike the mechanism of strikeing that the test piece made it the vibration, be equipped with the acceleration sensor of its motion of monitoring on the test piece. Reducible test piece boundary constraint of this device and structural stiffness's influence, can to the difference thoughtlessly congeal thoughtlessly congealing geomaterials damping and can test after geomaterials and the damage, the test result accuracy is credible, can be used for comparison different grade type and different operating condition, different military service stage thoughtlessly to congeal geomaterials's damping characteristic.

TL;DR: In this article, a modification of Coulomb's law of friction uses a variable coefficient of friction that depends on a power law in the energy of mechanical oscillation through the use of three different exponents: 0, 1/2 and 1; all commonly encountered nonviscous forms of damping are accommodated.
Abstract: A modification of Coulomb's law of friction uses a variable coefficient of friction that depends on a power law in the energy of mechanical oscillation Through the use of three different exponents: 0, 1/2 and 1; all commonly encountered non-viscous forms of damping are accommodated The nonlinear model appears to yield good agreement with experiment in cases of surface, internal, and amplitude dependent damping
