A new method for the simultaneous determination of the size and shape of pores: the thermoporometry

TL;DR: In this paper, a thermodynamic study of the liquid-solid phase transformations in porous materials provides the relationships between the size of the pores in which solidification takes place and the temperature of the triple point of the divided liquid, on the one hand, and between this temperature and the apparent solidification energy on the other hand.

Ultrafiltration, hyperfiltration or demineralization element, process for producing the same and its use in treating radioactive liquid wastes

TL;DR: In this article, a cellular, asymmetrical, microporous organic polymer membrane is produced on one of the surfaces of the porous support and fitted into the pores of a porous support flush with the surface and without projecting beyond the support surface.

Thermogravimetry and silk conditioning in lyons. A little known story (1833 – 1974)

TL;DR: The Silk conditioning proposed by Talabot in 1833 has been adopted as a model procedure till nowadays as mentioned in this paper, which is at the present time applied to many textile fibers and consists of the determination of a "dry" weight of a fiber by dehydrating a sample to a constant weight.
