Journal ArticleDOI

The nucleus of our Galaxy

TL;DR: In this paper, the central 100 parsecs of our Galaxy were studied and the importance of magnetic and gravitational forces, evidence for stellar formation and a central massive black hole, and the origin and nature of ionization, outflows and interstellar gas dynamics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isotopic Mass Ratios, Magnetic Moments and the Sign of the Electric Dipole Moment in Carbon Monoxide

TL;DR: In this article, the sign of the electric dipole moment was determined from the relative magnetic moments of the several isotopic species of carbon monoxide and corresponds to the charge distribution, and the final mass ratios agree very closely with the nuclear reaction values.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observations of the motion and distribution of the ionized gas in the central parsec of the galaxy. II

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used infrared fine-structure line emission from compact clouds of ionized gas within Sgr A West to derive a most probable mass distribution of the clouds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dynamics and Characteristics of the Self-Trapping of Intense Light Beams

TL;DR: Beam trapping in cadmium sulfide noting threshold, trapping length, refractive index change and Stokes radiation was reported in this paper, where the same authors also reported the following:
