TL;DR: The investigation of pyramid cellular acceptors is continued by presenting new results on their capabilities as two-dimensional pattern-recognizing machines.
Abstract: : In an earlier report, a new class of multilayer bounded cellular automata was defined and shown to improve the lower bound recognition time for many basic array recognition tasks. The investigation of pyramid cellular acceptors is continued by presenting new results on their capabilities as two-dimensional pattern-recognizing machines.

TL;DR: The main result is that the class of languages accepted by nondeterministic bounded cellular array acceptors is the same as that accepted by NBPA's.
Abstract: : Several properties and capabilities of nondeterministic bottom-up pyramid cellular acceptors (NBPA's) are presented NBPA's are a special case of the pyramid cellular acceptors The main result is that the class of languages accepted by nondeterministic bounded cellular array acceptors is the same as that accepted by NBPA's
