TL;DR: The ARUBA trial showed that medical management alone is superior to medical management with interventional therapy for the prevention of death or stroke in patients with unruptured brain arteriovenous malformations followed up for 33 months.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spontaneous brain microbleeds: systematic review, subgroup analyses and standards for study design and reporting
TL;DR: Brain microbleeds are seen as small, homogeneous, round foci of low signal intensity on magnetic resonance imaging gradient echo (GRE) T2 sequences and it appears that they are associated with hypertension and diabetes mellitus in otherwise healthy adults and adults with cerebrovascular diseases.
