Superconductivity at 55 K in Iron-Based F-Doped Layered Quaternary Compound Sm[O1-xFx] FeAs

TL;DR: In this article, the superconductivity of iron-based oxyarsenide Sm[O1-xFx]FeAs was reported, with the onset resistivity transition temperature at 55.0K and Meissner transition at 54.6 K. This compound has the same crystal structure as LaOFeAs with shrunk crystal lattices.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural Properties of MgB 2 Superconductors with a Critical Current Density Greater than 10 5 A/cm 2

TL;DR: In this article, structural features of MgB2 superconductors prepared under different conditions have been analyzed by means of transmission electron microscopy, and it was identified to have a hexagonal structure with the space group of P6/mmm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Debye Temperature of the MgCNi 3 Superconductor

TL;DR: In this article, the Debye temperature of the MgCNi3 superconductor was determined by using the Rietveld refinement method based on powder x-ray diffraction data.
