Abstract: Crisis is the truth of today's fast paced business world. Rapid organizational change, changing economic conditions, problems of personnel, unexpected technological changes and political effects cause instability on today's business world. This instability appears out of state control as economic disruptions that result in crisis. Crisis affecting our country and all other countries in the world also influences not only vacated people but also other individuals who concerns about losing their jobs. This economic uncertainty seemingly interests corporations. However environment is also one of the factors that affects crisis. If crisis isn’t brought under control or managed properly, it will come about and create chain crisis. Because of the increasing chaos, change from authoritarian leadership through teamwork and participative management mentality has been observed. Commerce has been getting more and more complicated and complex. These changes have transformed traditional crisis leaders to a leader model that makes scenario analysis and work done co-ordinately with a team by gathering lots of different point of view to create optimum solution. Leadership and crisis concepts are discussed together in order that implementation of leadership in crisis can be understood. Crisis leadership is also regarded as optimally and timely assessment process of adverse condition's effects whatever its reason is. In the first section of this article which will be presented with extensive literature, general information about leadership concept from Total Quality Management principles and comparison of leader and executive concepts will be given. In the second section, leadership in crisis management will be mentioned and in the last section the importance of lead executive in crisis and its contribution to literature will be reviewed.

Abstract: Emotional intelligence is one of the biggest factors that contributes to the success of individuals who assume various tasks and roles in modern life. It is also important in determining how individuals cope with the stress that can potentially limit their emotional relationships, decrease their efficiency, and reduce the pleasure of life. The main purposes of this study were to consider the concepts of emotional intelligence and stress, and to conduct an applied study of the relationship between these two variables. The nurses who worked at some of the private and governmental hospitals in the province of Ankara were studied, and this present study identified a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and stress. Abstract: Data were acquired from a total of 422 university students with 216 female and 206 male students via Couple Attachment Scale, Stress Coping Styles Scale and Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory. Positive and statistically significant relationships were determined between self-confident approach, optimistic approach and social support approach sub-scales as a result of Pearson Product Moments Correlation Coefficient analysis; whereas a negative and statistically significant relationship was determined between helpless approach and submissive approach sub-scales and self-esteem. It was determined as a result of the One Way MANOVA analysis that couples with secure and insecure attachment differ with regard to ways of coping with stress and self-esteem levels and that couples with secure attachment make use of self-confident approach, optimistic approach and social support approach from among styles of coping with stress, whereas couples with insecure attachment use helpless approach and submissive approach styles and that they have lower self-esteem levels.

Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the organizational stress and organisational commitments levels of disabled (Paralympic) sports players, whether demographic properties affect organizational commitment and organizational stress, and the relationship between organizational commitment and organizational stress. In this study, surveys were given to Turkish sports players who participated in the 2016 Rio Paralympics Games, from which the study sample was constructed. Frequency, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis, and Pearson correlation tests were used to analysis the data. The results of the analysis indicated that organisational stress and organisational commitment of physically disabled (Paralympic) athlete players were at moderate levels, there was no significant difference in organisational commitments and organisational stress levels in terms of demographical properties, and there was no significant relationship between organisational stress and organisational commitment.

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic forced institutions of higher education to adopt agile leadership behaviors. The current research aims to examine how the leadership at the Ohalo teacher training college in Israel dealt with the crisis caused by the pandemic. The research hypothesis, predicting a positive relationship between the college leadership’s decisions and lecturers’ positive evaluations regarding these decisions, was confirmed.
Previous research has given scant attention to the relationship between running an academic institution and applying principles of adaptive leadership during a crisis. This article presents a case study of adaptive leadership at an academic institution during the Covid-19 pandemic. The conclusions suggest that ensuring the continued functioning of an organization during a crisis requires skills and competencies reflecting multifaceted and adaptive leadership, agility, and direct channels of reciprocal, cooperative communication. Opportunities for initiative taking should be provided, and a consistent policy must be maintained that aims to “flatten the hierarchy curve.”
