TL;DR: This work proposes a work which applies the Internet of things (IOT) and motion sensing on smart house, denoted by Smart House Monitor & Manager (SHMM), to improve the convenience, safety, and power-saving of the house.
Abstract: The smart house is an important issue in the orange technology. In this paper, we proposes a work which applies the Internet of things (IOT) and motion sensing on smart house, denoted by Smart House Monitor & Manager (SHMM), to improve the convenience, safety, and power-saving of the house. It is based on the Zigbee sensor connected all sensors and actuators. And we have implemented the SHMM with a smart house to demonstrate the availability.

TL;DR: In this paper, a simulation-based digital courseware for intramuscular injection training in nurse education, to improve the learning effectiveness of practical nursing care training, was proposed, which was successfully applied on the nursing students in Taiwan.
Abstract: Learning is the major human activity which can make people to accommodate the environment or the society better. The effectiveness of learning is one important research issue in orange technology. The learning effectiveness of nurse education is more important than the other types of educations. In this paper, we proposed a work which develops a simulation-based digital courseware for intramuscular injection training in nurse education, to improve the learning effectiveness of practical nursing care training. The design of courseware is guided by the constructivism. In addition, the scenario simulation and game are involved to enhance the learning motivation. Moreover, the course has been successfully applied on the nursing students in Taiwan.

TL;DR: The motivation for using IoT-based technologies in smart homes, the issues related to application obstruction, and the development and utilization of smart homes are examined based on the findings from the literature.
Abstract: The new and disruptive Internet of Things (IoT)-based technologies being used in smart homes have significantly bounded and dispersed communication components. To examine these technologies and provide researchers with a clear vision toward this area, we must be aware of the utilized approaches and the existing limitations in this line of research. To this end, an extensive search was conducted for articles dealing with (a) smart homes, (b) IoT, and (c) related applications were comprehensively reviewed and a coherent taxonomy for these articles was established. ScienceDirect, IEEE Xplore, and Web of Science databases were checked for articles on IoT-based smart home technologies. The retrieved articles were then filtered based on specified criteria “Communication components aspects”, and 82 articles were eventually selected and classified into four categories. The first category included articles that representing internet devices in a framework or model that follows the requirements of the stage in which any system is developed, the second category included analytical studies that monitor the possible changes in the variables used in a specific case study, the third category included evaluation, comparative studies, and assessing their worth or merit, and the fourth category included reviews and surveys a review and survey of the communication components of IoT-based smart home technologies. The motivation for using IoT-based technologies in smart homes, the issues related to application obstruction, and the development and utilization of smart homes are then examined based on the findings from the literature. With the exception of the 82 articles reviewed earlier, the telecommunication standards and concepts of this research were covering IoT solutions, communication protocols, IoT stack protocol, and quality of service for IoT based smart home technologies.

TL;DR: This whole system using Internet of Things (iot) will allow mobile devices and computers to remotely control all the functions and features of home appliances from anywhere around the world using the internet connection.
Abstract: In this era of digitization and automation, the life of human beings is getting simpler as almost everything is automatic, replacing the old manual systems. Nowadays humans have made internet an integral part of their everyday life without which they are helpless. Internet of things (iot) provides a platform that allows devices to connect, sensed and controlled remotely across a network infrastructure. In this paper we focus on home automation using smart phone and computer. The iot devices controls and monitors the electronic electrical and the mechanical systems used in various types of buildings. The devices connected to the cloud server are controlled by a single admin which facilitate a number of users to which a number of sensor and control nodes are connected. The admin can access and control all the nodes connected to each user but a single user can control only the nodes to which the user itself is connected. This whole system using Internet of Things (iot) will allow mobile devices and computers to remotely control all the functions and features of home appliances from anywhere around the world using the internet connection. The system designed is economical and can be expanded as it allows connection and controlling of a number of different devices.

Abstract: Home automation is becoming popular due to its numerous benefits. Home automation refers to the control of home appliances and domestic features by local networking or by remote control. Artificial Intelligence provides us the framework to go real-time decision and automation for Internet of Things (IoT).The work deals with discussion about different intelligent home automation systems and technologies from a various features standpoint. The work focuses on concept of home automation where the monitoring and control operations are facilitating through smart devices installed in residential buildings. Heterogeneous homeautomation systems and technologies considered in review with central controller based (Arduino or Raspberry pi), web based, email based, Bluetooth-based, mobile-based, SMS based, ZigBee based, Dual Tone Multi Frequency-based, cloud-based and the Internet with performance.

TL;DR: A high secure but low-power consumption communication scheme for the LoRaWAN, named the Secure Low Power Communication (SeLPC), is proposed to further reduce end-devices’ data encryption power by reducing encryption cycles of AES.
Abstract: Currently, Internet of Things (IoT) as an essential infrastructure proposed for industries and different applications has been popularly applied to different domains, such as healthcare and smart farming, for helping people to do something, aiming to improve our living environments. LoRaWAN, as a Long-Range Wide Area Network specification recommended by the LoRa Alliance, is a low power and long distance communication protocol suitable for IoT environments. This protocol adopts a widely used data encryption method, i.e., Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), developed based on powerful algebra operations and multiple encryption cycles to ensure its communication security. LoRaWAN reduces communication power by setting different transmission latencies for different end-devices; however, AES does not take into account its end device’s encryption power. In this paper, a high secure but low-power consumption communication scheme for the LoRaWAN, named the Secure Low Power Communication (SeLPC) method, is proposed to further reduce end-devices’ data encryption power by reducing encryption cycles of AES. In the SeLPC, encryption key and D-Box update procedure is presented to enhance security level and simplify the AES encryption process so that the power consumption can be further lowered. Comparing with the traditional AES, the analysis results show that the SeLPC can minimize the encryption power up to 26.2%. The SeLPC can also resist three attacks, including known-key, replay, and eavesdropping attacks and is practically helpful for use in LoRaWAN IoT environments.
