TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe how service users can assume the role of collaborators in social practice, research, and education, and how to realize collaborative relationships in practice is a challenge that requires prudence, coherence, and methodology.
Abstract: The idea that social work needs to be concerned with thinking and acting in a more collaborative way with the people in need is common around the world. At the international level, codes of ethics and social work principles inspire practitioners, researchers, and educators in bridging the gap between themselves and people in trouble, commonly known as service users. Beyond a common agreement around such principle, to realize collaborative relationships in practice is a challenge that requires prudence, coherence, and methodology. The Relational social work method supports the practical development of participation, collaboration, and reciprocity. Through concepts and examples, this article aims to describe how service users can assume the role of collaborators in social practice, research, and education.

Abstract: The shift of Microbial Ecology in Health and Disease to an Open Access publication model and a dedicated publishing house has now started to bear fruit. The so-called Impact Factor is one of several ranking indicators that are important for the development of a scientific journal, and I am therefore pleased to inform our authors and readers that, in July 2012, Microbial Ecology in Health and Disease was entered into online evaluation by Thomson Reuters (ISI), the company offering this citation indexing service. However, it will probably take 3-4 years before the journal actually obtains an official Impact Factor due to the way in which this factor is calculated. But now the process has started. Personally, my first priority is to publish highquality research papers that will be read by researchers all over the world; if these papers are also cited by these researchers, I will only be happy. TL;DR: In this article, a comparative analysis of four perspectives (CRPS, parents, children, and police officers) was performed in order to reveal the manifestations and preconditions of CRPS aggression towards parents and children during the process of removing a child from a family.
Abstract: Numerous studies have focused on the issue of client aggression against various help professionals. Much less attention has been paid to the opposite phenomenon—the aggression of help professionals towards clients, especially aggression of child rights protection specialists (CRPS). Comparative analysis of four perspectives (CRPS, parents, children, and police officers) was performed in order to reveal the manifestations and preconditions of CRPS aggression towards parents and children during the process of removing a child from a family. The manifestations of psychological and physical CRPS aggression were alluded to by all groups of research participants. The preconditions can be classified as being related to the behavior of the child and parents, the employee’s personality traits, competencies and psychological states related to a specific work situation, and institutional, inter-institutional, social, and political contexts. Based on our research results, suggestions can be made on how the procedure of removing a child from an unsafe family environment can be improved, such as by making it less harmful for children, more constructive for the whole family, and making the CRP system operate in such a manner that it does not create preconditions for CRPS to transgress the boundaries of professional relations.
